Declan nodded and followed his new-found mate. He was nervous about this, this was his mate, but as far as he could tell he wasnt a wolf. How could this, or would this, work?

Kyle so far thought that Declan was cute and he wondered what Declan's orientation was. He would find out later if Kyle ended up flirting with him. Soon they got to the coffee shop. "What would you like? I will go order it while you get us a table." Kyle suggested.

"Just a black coffee for me. Thanks." Declan smiled softly. This could work, he thought to himself. Kyle seemed friendly enough.

Kyle nodded and went to order the coffee from the barista working the counter while Declan got them a table to sit at and talk at.

Declan picked a small booth near the back of the cafe and sat down. He watched Kyle from behind and he bit his lip, what could he even say to him to convince Kyle that he wasnt a stalker or some crazy person.

Kyle soon got their drinks and made his way over to the table. He handed Declan his drink before sitting down at the table and looking at him to start the conversation.

Kate said " I better go to my apartment " she actually didn't want to leave and she secretly hoped he would follow and stay with her but she sighed sadly and started walking home

Declan took a sip of coffee and then cleared his throat. "This is a pretty nice place." he said softly.

Finian followed her, "wait, Kate." he touched her arm.
