Thomas nodded, and slowly sat up.

Laken sat up as well before inching to the edge of the bed, "My mom should be downstairs by now, probably cooking." He figured he'd give Thomas the warning, "Plus she might want to hug you." He said with a soft smile.

Thomas nodded. "Got it," he smiled a little. "I'll try not to yell." He started toward the door.

Laken nodded as he walked to the door as well, opening it for the other.

Cindy was downstairs in front of the stove singing along to some song that was playing on the radio next to her. She had her brown hair tied into a messy bun, she was wearing nice jeans and a red t-shirt that had a wolf on it. (She ships hard man)

Thomas walked downstairs slowly, looking back at Laken with a slight smile as he heard Cindy's singing.

Laken smirked lightly at his mother's singing, humming along softly to it.

Cindy was making pancakes, flipping them in beat with the music. She wasn't to bad of a singer, she had a soft voice but she could easily hit the high notes.

Thomas smiled down at the floor, before glancing back up at Cindy and the kitchen around him.

Laken followed after Thomas before pulling out a stoll by their kitchen "island" in the middle of the room, patting itt softly for Thomas to come sit.

Cindy looked over at them and she smiled brightly, turning down her music. She looked over to Thomas with small tears forming, "Welcome home Thomas." She said softly while scruching up the bottom of her shirt, fighting the urge to bear hug the boy

Thomas sat down, and looked over at Cindy with a slight smile, leaning into Laken a little with a soft nod at the welcome. "Thank you." He said.

Laken took a seat next to Thomas and wrapped his arm around his mate's waist.

Cindy smiled lightly before wiping her tears, "I hope you boys are hungry, for you see I've made the best pancakes in the world today." She said with a proud smile as she grabbed some plates and placed them in front of them.
