Laken rubbed his mate's shoulder gently, he wanted Thomas to be able to sleep a bit but wasn't sure if he wanted to.

Thomas held around Laken's waist, looking up at the ceiling. He was glad for the affectionate company.

Laken had one arm under his head while the other wrapped around Thomas, where ever his mate touched felt warm and alive liked he had been stuck in the cold for weeks and was finally starting to warm up.

Thomas knew the day would come when he would be free again, and it had kept him holding on at times of great need. The electric shocks to his feet had left him a quite literal mess, and they hadn't stopped due to him not answering their questions. But now he was home.
