Laken held onto Thomas gently, his arms bruised and he was betting his back and neck were as well. Laken rubbed Thomas back softly trying to calm him down, "It's okay...."

Thomas' eyes were a little red, head pounding. "Your mum," he murmured softly. "She'll s-" he wasn't finished speaking when a fit of coughs burst through him, collapsing on Laken, eyes blurring. "We have to tell her." He said.

Laken nodded lightly, "I'll think of something... don't worry.." he said trying to calm Thomas down, "She should be home soon... it'll be okay..."

"I'm tired," Thomas said softly, closing his eyes and breathing deeply. He couldn't believe that only moments ago he had been fine, cuddling. Happy. Like this, Thomas felt like he wouldn't be able to be happy for a while. He brought a hand up to his neck, shivering softly as he felt a dark red liquid covering the lower half of it.

"Don't you dare fall asleep yet... just hold out for a couple more minutes..." Laken said starting to panic as he looked around for something to stop the bleeding on Thomas' neck. He grabbed a spare t-shirt and held it up to Thomas' neck, "Hold this against your neck, I'll see if i can go find some bandages or something..."

Thomas held the shirt to his neck, looking up at Laken and mumbling in complaint when he decided to leave, pulling himself onto the bed.

Laken stood up slightly as he made his way towards the door, "Stay awake..." he muttered back to Thomas as he walked out and towards the bathroom where he always kept extra bandages. He grabbed a few as he heard a car door shut and the sound of heels rushing towards the door, Laken moved towards the railing and looked over as his mother came in utterly shocked. She looked up and noticed Laken, "What happened?!" she asked dropping her plastic bags and rushing upstairs. "Someone broke in...." he explained as she rushed over to him and started examining his wounds. "I'm fine mom... Thomas got really hurt..." he said softly as Cindy nodded and they started towards Laken's room.

"Will do," Thomas mumbled, looking at the wall, breathing deeply, pulling his knees up to his chest and gulping a little as he heard the front door open, wincing at the sound. "A-" he was trying so hard not to sleep, losing the battle as he subconsciously heard someone heading up the stairs.

Laken walked into the room rushing over to Thomas as Cindy followed in, "Hey... I said not to sleep..." Laken said as his voice broke and tears started to form, "You need to wake up..." he said as his mother pulled out her phone and dialed 911. "Hi, yes we need an ambulance... yes 24 Turnbridge drive... yes... yes... thank you." she said softly as she crouched down in front of Thomas, removing the cloth and replacing it with a few bandages she took from Laken's hand.

Thomas' mouth was dry as he opened his eyes reluctantly, looking at Laken. "Not.. Hospital.." He murmured. "P-please..."
