Then Iza saw it. A hungry desert lion. And the girl was going to be its prey. She thought for a few moments what to do. Then she jumped in front of the lion. After seeing her sharp teeth and claws, the lion started to back away. Unfortunately, by acting as a prey, Liza saw it as a prey. Her attack was fast but effective, and the lion lay dead on the ground.

Holly's legs gave up from under her and she tumbled to the ground staring horrified at the lion's fresh corpse. Thorn came down from the sky and landed on the corpse looking around he picked a piece of the lions flesh and flew over to Holly. "Th-thank you...?" She struggled to say through shaking lips.

Iza stood there for a few moments, not remembering why she killed it. Then her stomach rumbled, and she was reminded. She immediately dug into the lion's corpse, eating it like a wild animal. The blood was barely visible on her already red skin, but covered the few strings of hair she had left.

Iza then looked at the girl. Thinking she was hungry, she ripped a piece of flesh from the lion, walked over to the girl and let the flesh fall before her.
"Omnononm?" She asked, waiting for the girl to make her move.

Holly crinkled away. "Sorry I don't eat meat..." She said observing the girl.

Iza saw the girl not eating, so she guessed she wasn't hungry. With her razor sharp teeth, she started devouring the flesh. When she was done, she looked at the girl again.
"Iza. Me Iza." She simply said. She was curios about this girl. It looked like a human, but a bit different.

[Heart~Of~Stone]

-Sapphire Bloom- A light knock at the door brought me awake, I had been waking up now and then through the night by the slightest noises and I didn't surprise me that was all it took. I rubbed my eyes and sat up, then grabbed my eye patch and slid it back on, letting some of my hair fall back in front of it. I nodded to her, I would be ready soon enough, I didn't plan on bringing much. "Maybe I'll have something in the shop we could use." I said, my voice soft, as I got up from my bed and patted down my dress. The fabric was a bit wrinkled from sleeping in it, but that was the least of my worries now, and I could imagine my hair was also a mess. I began packing what I thought I might need into a relatively small bag; two pairs of extra clothing and a small makeshift knife I had in one of my drawers, and I figured I could grab some things from the kitchen before we left the house. The thought of my mother still lingered in my mind, but I knew I had to be strong.

Holly smiled. "Nice to meet you Iza I'm Holly." She put to fingers in her mouth and blew. A loud whistling noise came out and Thorn flew down and landed on her shoulder. "This is Thorn." She said with a smile

Fawn nodded and headed outside. She already had everything she needed on her now she was waiting for Sapphire.

[Heart~Of~Stone]

-Sapphire Bloom- I hurried to get the rest of my things in my bag and then I was out the bedroom door. I was anxious along with a mix of too many other emotions to count, too many emotions for me to even recognize in myself, and I still had the nagging feeling that I was not wanted... But non the less, I kept my cool as I grabbed a couple cans of food from the pantry along with a small packet of dried berry's' I had stored in one of the counters in my kitchen and tossed them to the top of my bag. Taking one last, solemn look at my mothers room I sighed. "Well, I'm ready when you are..."

Iza sniffeled Thorn, just like a dog would do. She sat down.
"Why here? No people here." She said, trying to ask her why she was here. Even though she had little to no brain, you do realize after a few centuries that not many people come to your place.

Holly laughed. "Good point, I'm trying to cross these deserts to get to the Lunar oceans." She scratched Thorns feathers and allowed him to go back into the sky.

Fawn smiled. "Well let's get going we have a long way to capital city." She began to lead the way. "Oh, do you need anything from your shop before it's to late?"
