We're in need of more human/hunter characters!

You were all...well...different.
You’ve been different your entire life and you were very tired of everything around you that was normal reminding you that you were different from them. It got really annoying after a while.
No matter how hard (or how little) you tried, you couldn't seem to fit in with the humans. After a while, they noticed that you all were trying to get near them, and though you may or may have not intended to cause any harm, the humans did not believe you to be harmless. They did not want to live in harmony "with this creatures", as they put it; they feared you too much to accept you and their law was “leave or die”. You didn’t have much of a choice, right? You retreated back into hiding after that.
Some of you grew to resent the human race, others learned to live with the ways things were -life goes on- and a few of you strongly believed you could make your counterpart species see eye-to-eye.
Your lives would be so much easier if hunters weren't after you all the time.

ROLE PLAYING RULES

❍ Tess's rules apply.
❍ Respect your fellow role players.
❍ If you are using someone else's art, credit them, please.
❍ Block out the swearing word ( d*nm). My only exceptions are hell and crap.
❍ *Fade to black* when needed.
❍ You may do things to induce drama and make things interesting but keep it in the RP.
❍ No godmodding, powerplaying, perfect characters.
❍ You are allowed to add categories onto the form sheet I've made for this RP. Please do not delete any categories.
❍ You may have as many characters as you can handle. You are always allowed to bring in other characters later in the RP, or kill off some of your own if you feel that you have too many.
❍ You can have any creature that you want. Your characters can by hybrids -only up to two species - like a werewolf/vampire hybrid or an angel/human hybrid
❍ No perfect characters.
❍ No dating yourself.
❍ Nothing along the lines of "meet him/her" or "will reveal in RP" are allowed as fillers in your forms. I will only accept completed forms. WIPs are fine as long as you finish them before posting.
❍ Your characters will eventually get sick and injured or possibly die at some point in time.
❍ There can be male x female, male x male, or female x male relationships; don't bash on these. Just make sure the other person you’re planning to do a relationship with agrees. No underaged dating, marriage, etc.
❍ Text speak, script speech, or one-liners are not allowed.
❍ You can spiff up your characters' bios to your heart's content, but please don't use outrageous text colors for your bios or in your posts.
❍ Have fun in this RP, and if you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask me.

(Hey guys! I'm around (doing homework so my replies might be a little on the slow side, but I'll be able to keep up I think) in case we want to start. Not sure if anyone else is here right now though. Still, I'll be lurking for a while.)

I guess we can go ahead and start...do you want to pick up from where we last left off? ))

(Sorry I poofed for a while there. I got caught up with reading. It's odd, I know raion was interested in getting going. Maybe they havn't seen the message yet? In any case, going from where we left off works for me! I'll just go ahead and copy-paste my last reply if that's cool! Lorin was with Gilbert trying to get a story on his house, if I remember correctly? And Iggy's just bumming around on the streets so he'll be free for anything really. Let me know if I should adjust anything ^-^)

Lorin
Right. The man didn't seem thrilled about talking to a reporter about ghosts in the middle of the morning. Or perhaps he was? Lorin sighed internally. He hated not being able to read people. The guy didn't sound like he was happy, but for all Lorin knew he could ecstatic. But he was cooperating. That's what mattered. Lorin didn't need his enthusiasm. Getting the story, then getting out: his primary objective. With that thought in mind he moved into the house.
"Thank you," he said with another tight smile. He adjusted his glasses as he moved past the other man, looking into the house curiously. He stopped soon after he passed Gilbert, not wanting to move into the house without the owner's permission. That said "lawsuit" all over it. He glanced around, wondering what a "true haunted house" was supposed to look like, anyway. He took his camera off his neck, turning it on and checking the settings for a moment before turning back to the owner of the house.
"My name is Lorin Tucker," he stuck the hand that wasn't holding the camera out to the other man,
"Pleased to meet you."

iggy
Iggy took a breath, stepping out of the laundromat. He had just spent the last hour or so standing in nothing but his boxers, waiting for the rest of his clothes to dry. After hanging up with his perspective roommate and fleeing the park the previous day, he had started to work on looking like a normal member of society. After all, no one wanted to room with someone that looked like a hobo. At least, most normal people didn't. And he liked normal. Normal was fun to mess with. So he had first gone to a 24 gym at around 1:00am. After barely flashing his long-expired membership card at the tired and ambivalent employee, he had the showers to himself.
Once he was clean, he stole a phonebook from a local diner. His future meals secured, he had taken a nap before heading to the laundromat. Where, as it was said before, he stripped down to his boxers and loaded up the washing machine with the rest of his clothes. He stood brazenly in his boxers, thumbing through his phonebook and acting like he was perfectly normal and that people did this every day. Fortunately for everyone but the man who ran the laundromat, he was the only other person there to witness the strange event before Iggy re-dressed and rushed out the door. Now he looked much less like a homeless man and he was ready to start the day.

Gilbert

"No problem," Gilbert muttered and closed the door behind the reporter. The werewolf shoved his hands into his pants pockets and eyed the other man as he stopped a few steps from him and unhooked the camera from around his neck. Gilbert raised an eyebrow as the man introduced himself - his name was Lorin Tucker - and he shook the reporter's hand.
"Gilbert Capello," the werewolf said and let go to put his hand back in his pocket. It soon dawned on him a few seconds later that this Lorin guy wasn't going to take another step without his permission. Gilbert removed his hand from his pocket again to point forward, toward the hallway that lead to the kitchen and dining room. "Uh, you can go go...what you have to...do," he said though a yawn. Gilbert once again eyed the reporter and hoped that this man would be in and out swiftly because he was still tired as heck and wanted to go back to sleep. He felt as if he'd fall over a any given moment so he just leaned against the wall by the door. 'Please just hurry up,' he thought and yawned again.

Jessica

Well her day could not get any better, could it? Not only was there some actual life in the house besides Mister-Werewolf-Who-Snores-Too-Loudly-When-He-Sleeps, but the reporter was interested in finding out if there were any ghosts in the house!
'He can defiantly help me!' Jessica thought, her green eyes lighting up with excitement. She took a few steps back from the door, inhaled though her noses and exhaled though her mouth in an attempt to calm herself. She moved forward and, completely forgetting that she could just ghost through solid objects, Jessica opened the door fully and walked out onto the landing to peer over the railing. There was a man downstairs who she concluded to be the reporter she had heard the werewolf talking to; he was shaking hands with her unwanted monster of a house guest and then Jessica spotted the camera in his hand. The girl swallowed before moving down the stairs to the step fifth from the landing. She leaned against the railing there -yep, it was still loose like it was when the werewolf moved in- and then she began violently shaking it in hopes of catching the reporter's attention.

Lorin
He gave a short nod as the other man, Gilbert apparently, gave him permission to move inside. He stepped further in, looking through his lens for a moment. The lighting was fine, he supposed. But he'd really just be taking a few pictures of empty corners, a bed or two, maybe a creepy rocking chair if he was lucky. Nothing particularly fancy. He walked further into the house, peering around a corner or two. The place wasn't all that big, he'd be out of here in no time.
"So have you had any strange activity in the house since you've lived here Mr. Capello?" he asked, raising his camera to his eyes. Might as well do the interview at the same time as the photo-shoot. It'd get him out faster. He was waiting for Gilbert's reply and just about to take the first picture, a general picture of the small living room, when something rattled. The sudden, strange noise made him jump, clutching at his camera to avoid dropping it. He looked around, blinking. "What was that?" he asked, trying to cover up his embarrassment at being so easily startled.

(Yo I'm gonna pass out for now. I'll be sure to check this tomorrow when I get a chance! I hope I'll see some more people tomorrow as well. ^-^ g'night!)
