Do's and Don'ts . Zombie Apocalypse, Open.

[Pounce the Cat]

Battle followed Enya, half wanting to look at her arm and half not. She was curious, but she knew it would be pretty gross. Finally, her curiosity won out and she lifted her sleeve to see her stitched wound. It did not look happy. "Thanks, Enya," Battle told her.

Once Rose killed all the walkers, she began to scavenge the area. She found a few cans of food and a water bottle. She grunted and dropped her backpack and sat down.
(( Rose is open ))

Alec was carving a stick with his knife, humming to himself. He loved to carve. He did it whenever he could. The stick had two lines around it and circles above and below them. The name Alec was messily written at the bottom of it.
(( Alec is open, too. ))

[Stromae]

"Don't thank me, it was nothing." The girl said. Finally, the small group made it back to the main road in one piece.
After a long while of walking and utter silence, Enya finally spoke back up, "We may run into another group, so be on guard." She pushed back a few messy strands of her hair and gazed out onto the main road, which was presumably empty for now... She wouldn't know how long it would take until they make it to the next town.
"So, Battle," Claude began, walking beside the younger girl, "Are you from around here?" He asked.

[Pounce the Cat]

"Are they good or bad?" She asked her. She kept her hand on her knife. "Do you know them?" She turned to Claude. "Well, I'm actually from California. I decided to come up here because I figured the zombies would be slower in snow."

[Stromae]

"Well I don't know if they're friendly or not. A lot of people tend to run into each other when looking for a common item." Enya replied, glancing over her shoulder as she did so.
"We'll know when we get there," Claude commented, "Eh, a cold walker or a warm one is still a walker. There really isn't a safe place anymore."
"When we get to town, I'll put you in charge of finding a safe spot to group up and rest for the night, Battle," The younger sibling began. "Something easy to slip in and out of, and decently spaced... When we get to town we'll split off and scavenge, then we regroup at the entrance of town."

[Pounce the Cat]

"True," Battle said, nodding her head to what Claude said. "Yeah, I can find a house for the night. See? I'm useful! Perhaps, I could stay with you guys for another day?" She looked at Enya with a grin and a hopeful look in her eyes. She liked being with others; she missed the interactions and the fooling around. By herself, doom and gloom was on her mind and it was getting depressing. But with others, she was a lot more happier.

[Stromae]

Enya shrugged her shoulders. "I'll consider it. I'll let you know tonight when I decide whether or not to let you stay for another day." She paused and stopped in front of the town she had spoken of earlier. "We're here."
The activity in the town was rather high, unlike the town before this town seemed to have many many more walkers.
"I'll check the stores." Claude mumbled.
"I'm searching through some of the houses then, I'll leave the rest to Battle." The medical expert added, "Let's split up. Meet back here when the sun begins to set."

Battle was expecting an outright no, so she was surprised when Enya said she would consider it. It put a smile on her face even though she was sure it was going to be a 'no'. Battle nodded to them and readjusted her backpack. She got her knife out and headed towards a house. She was as quiet as a mouse as she walked inside. Searching the living room, she found nothing, only a dusty couch and coffee table and a shattered TV. Walking towards the kitchen, she peeked around and spotted a zombie kneeling on the ground, eating the remains of something. She quietly padded behind it until she was in stabbing distance. She sunk her knife into it's head, dropping it instantly. Thinking maybe there was something on the zombie, she searched its pockets, but found nothing. "Dang," she said, standing up. She searched the kitchen and found one can of beans. That was all she found though in that room. She found the bathroom and checked to make sure nothing undead was in there. There was no zombies. She opened the cabinet above the sink, looking for medical supplies and was surprised to find a bottle of hydrogen peroxide. It was half empty, but it was something. She stuck it in her backpack. Nothing else was in the cabinet. She bent down to the one under the sink and searched it, but there was nothing. She searched the kid's rooms and found a couple of clothes that would fit her. Apparently, this family had a teen daughter who was a fan of rock bands. She now had a long sleeved shirt with the logo for 'Avenged Sevenfold' and two pairs of pants that were a little big on her, but she also found a belt. Looking in the closet, she saw a jacket. It wasn't as thick as she wanted, but it was better than nothing. She put it on and headed towards the master bedroom. There was nothing else in the house. She walked out to search other houses, and she found two more cans of food and a granola bar.

Enya removed her baseball bat from her bag and walked down the sidewalk, maintaining her distance from the walkers. Decent sized homes which were once bright and colorful sat in rows in front if the cracked sidewalk. The petite girl slipped into one of the houses and entered through the front door that was wide open and barely hanging on its already rusting hinges. The old oak groaned as she walked slowly inside the house, her breath stilled as her hands clenched the metal baseball bat. Enya made her way to the kitchen, of course everything was ransacked, and from the rubble that was scattered about the floor she found a small can of tuna and spam. She placed the items in the smaller pockets of her backpack and resumed her raid of the home. The girl walked upstairs and peered down the hallway. Two doors... One bathroom at the end of the hallway... She inhaled deeply and approached the door that was closest to her. She removed one hand off of the baseball bat and extended it so that she was able to open up the door. A long creak was then followed by a gurgled hiss from a corpse that rested inside of the room. "Hurk-" She gagged as a putrid stench filled her nose. Enya raised her baseball bat and swung it at the shambling zombie, hitting it in the head several times until it no longer twitched its fingers. Nothing in this room was useful... Which was quite the pity as well. The medical expert closed the door and headed to the bathroom where she stocked up on a few unpeeled bandaids and a small roll of gauze. The master bedroom was empty except for an unturned mattress. Thankfully, she didn't leave the home empty handed and continued her pursuit.

Claude shuffled through many alleyways, his brown eyes frantically glancing about as he searched for stores that had an easy entry. This town had no popular franchises such as Walmart or Sears, but they did have thrift shops which had some clothes but not many that would fit his stature, but his sister on the other hand... Keeping his younger sibling in mind, Claude spotted a thrift store with an opened backdoor from the alleyway he currently walked through. The tall man inhaled deeply as he walked through the staff room and entered the main room of the thrift store. Mannequins were headless, and most were on the floor, probably trampled over by doomsday preppers and of the like. He looked through the broken front windows and spotted a few walkers stumbling around outside. He thought that he was safe at the moment, so he freely sifted through the store to find a jacket or a sweater to aid his group.
