Geoff had arrived at the school a few hours ago, used to the routine by now. He'd been coming to Beaconhurst for three years now, and had settled in quite quickly. Every year it was the same, arrive, go to your dorm, unpack, find your friends. He'd done the first three, and was now lounging around on his bed as he waited for some others to arrive at the school. He was used to being there before most. Bored, the boy got up off his bed and left his room, not bothering to close the door behind him. Humming quietly to himself, he began to explore the academy. It hadn't changed much since last semester, but he liked scoping out new teachers. The faunus flexed his fingers as he walked, claws pressing gently against the palms of his hand. Studying them, he let out a little sigh. They were getting a little longer than he liked to have them. After doing a little exploring of the inside, Geoff headed outside the school onto the clearing. Still no sign of a friend, or even someone he knew. Maybe there'd me more Faunus this year, though. Right in the centre of the clearing stood a tree. Curled and crisp leaves cascaded down around it, leaving a wonderland of glorious amber in their wake. Geoff had fond memories of that tree, as he'd gotten stuck in it on his first day at Beaconhurst. The faunus smiled faintly, shaking his head a little at the memory.
