Koda took her extended digits politely, inwardly resolving to wash his gloves later. He'd bee wearing them for a couple of days; they were bound to get a clean. And what was he in for? Was she kidding him? This compound had an obvious use, to keep those unlike the rest of the population up nicely. "In for?" Kodak asked, making sure confusion etched across his features. He might as well clear up her statement, to resolve the doubt nagging at his mind.

Yea, as he had previously thought, the girl was going for there. "Oh y'know..usual stuff..." Koda first stated, a little bit unsure of announcing his abilities so early in this budding relationship. You never knew who you could trust, after all. But after seconds of pondering, he figured what the hell. After all, it was likely she would find out some way or another, inquiring information from a secondary source. "I can..uh manipulate energy, nullify other powers, and physics are unable to read my mind. I'm immune to being controlled, manipulated, or read."

"Telekinesis is cool." Kodak offered meekly, though his quiet tone wasn't really convincing. With a sigh, he leaned back on his empty bed, golden eyes staring up at the above ceiling; as if he was searching for some beyond himself. "Though my powers do come in handy, I guess. It's all privacy up in my head, I don't have to worry about one of the many telepaths entering my privy thoughts."

"Yep... don't have to worry about me poking around in your head." Coping the action as him, I lay back and let out a big sigh as my violet eyes look at the ceiling. "As soon as I get the chance... I'm busting out of here." I say after a long silence. I sit up and look out the window, my eyes narrow.

"Nice name. I'm Jay." He told her and flashed a kind smile. "My younger sister is Ra-" he was cut off by a girls yell calling him. He looked behind him and saw Raven running towards him. She hugged him tightly and he wrapped his arms around her. "What's wrong?" He asked her.

Raven looked up at her brother. "Some man scared me half to death." She said and wiped her eyes. "I swear! Why can't people be nicer around here? This place freaks me out." She told him. Her headphones were around her neck and the music still playing. She looked past her big brother at the girl. "Who are you?" She asked the girl, eyes narrowed.
