Both the sun and moon are important to our planet as they are important to the countless amount of creatures. But we were never alone on this planet, a new world started to drift upon us and caused the only population of humans to live in Europe where they were isolated from the new people. The supernatural world began to thrive and many vampire clans, werewolf packs, demonic rebellionites and many others rose to their full power and glory.
The Northern and Southern American countries had most of the worlds population of supernaturals. One group in particular was the greatest shape-shifters. Many believed that the shape-shifters morphed into anything of their choice but that wasn't true they like many other supernaturals had been gifted with an animal soul along with their own. They could shift into this animal whenever they pleased. They were related to werewolves but were better. Werewolves could shift into their wolf at the at of 16 they'd then discover their soul mate at 18 whereas the shifters could shift at the age of 5 they had no given soul mate and if both parents were a barn owl the child could be a raven they would still be capable of flying like their parents but you'd rarely see the offspring having the same animal as their parents. They'd have the same group as their parents e.g. bird, canine, equine, etc. etc.
This is where we travel to Canada and join the newest generation of shifters in one town. The town was divided into two, a pack and clan the pack consisted mainly of canines and some felines, while the clan had mainly felines but the canines were quite fond of the clan and also joined giving them an equal amount. All other animals Birds, Equines, Rodents et.c et.c could be found within the pack and clan very few dared betray their Alpha who would send his/her whole pack to hunt and slaughter the betrayer depending on the crime.
