A Magical World of Wings - Fairy RP - On Hiatus

Kyan hesitated. "I guess I'll go in." He let go of the sand clamped in his hand. It crushed a bit as it hit the ground. He only had to walk an inch or two before his feet were in the water. The sensation was quite refreshing and spread through his whole body. He went in a little deeper before he was in far enough to keep himself afloat, which he was able to do without using his wings. "You're right, it feels great." The last time he'd been here, which was a long time ago, he went under for a bit was able to use underwater vegetation to help keep himself from drowning. There was probably a lot more underwater than he'd seen, so perhaps he could use that same method again if he were to see it today.

Nolan walked out to join him, and used his blue tinted wings to push himself onto his back. He used them as a floatation device of sorts, and he let out a contented sigh. He looked at the leaves dancing above them in the breeze, and felt the deep, crystal-clear water beneath his body. "Thanks for coming here with me, it's nice not going alone." Nolan said, closing his eyes and feeling the slight current pull him slowly into the deeper part. He felt a small fish nibble at his left foot, and he laughed as he kicked it away.

Alice was sitting on a tree stump, reading. She had created a shade for herself by manipulating the light. She was somewhat fatigued, so maybe she could go to a pond to take a dip or something. She then heard the sound of fluttering wings. Alice glanced up and noticed a fairy nearby. A plant fairy, it seemed. She began to ponder whether or not to approach her. She could use a break in reading, but socializing wasn't really her thing.

Lilly kept flying then lowered herself down to the root of the Huge tree. She smiled, "Yellow of great one," She muttered to the tree. the tree have a small huff and said hello back. Lilly smiled and crossed her legs beginning to meditate.

Kyan smiled. "No problem. I love having company." His wings were now dotted with water droplets, and with their color they somewhat resembled leaves after morning rain. He swam a little further into the water, his wings buzzing a couple of times to help propel him. Kyan then looked down through the surface. It was beautifully clear, but even so he couldn't make out too much below his own body. The fish Nolan had kicked away was swimming back downward. He looked back up at Nolan. "Can you go underwater?" he asked. This was an air fairy, it seemed, so the answer was probably yes, but Kyan didn't like to jump to conclusions.

Alice watched as the plant fairy began to meditate. She brushed her hair away from her eyes a bit. Maybe I shouldn't interrupt her. Then again, she does have time later. Probably. Alice was still bored with reading, so she placed her book upside-down on the ground. She then took the light from the area where the other fairy was meditating, and placed it to where she was, in her shade. She didn't really like being in broad sunlight, but the shadowed area was now around the plant fairy. She wanted to see how she'd react.

He manipulated the wind pattern so that the bird was being drifted backwards, and he laughed. "Yeah, I don't have much difficulty going underwater. If anything, it's nicer down there than it is up here." Nolan said, still chuckling about the bird above. It was now perched in the tree, and seemed very confused. He drifted past Kyan, barely touching the plant fairy's arm. I wonder if Flick is out-and-about today. Maybe if Kyan wants to, we can go down and check out the unique area of the lake they were floating above.

Arashi sits on the branch of a tree,his hair flowing in the slight breeze. He watches the shadows,manipulating them into different shapes every few seconds

Chiyo stands above a small puddle of water,she smiles to herself as she freezes it over slowly

Kyan absentmindedly swirled his finger in the surrounding water as he glanced up at the bird that Nolan had just messed with, smiling a little in amusement. "I figured. Since you're an air fairy." He looked down through the surface again. "I've only been underwater in this pond once, and it was pretty amazing. I don't have much trouble either, as long as I can find some kind of plant to take energy and oxygen from." He seems to really enjoy it here. If he was never using his powers in front of me I would've thought he was a water fairy. It'd be nice to explore with him.

Nolan leaned back so that he was now upright. He kept afloat in the clear water by circulating his wings through the water. "It really is magical down there." He said, taking out the feathers from his hair and tossing them into the air. Manipulating the wind, he directed them towards the shore. They landed with muted thump, and he turned to focus on the plant fairy again. "Oh, look at that!" Nolan exclaimed, pointing at an underwater snake that had been swimming below them. It's vibrant red, blue, and orange scales shone brilliantly through the water.

"Oh, wow." Kyan smiled down at the snake, and went under to get a closer look. A snake that swam with its whole body underwater was unusual. The colors were vibrant, and the head seemed to be a rounded triangle shape. He backed away from it a little as he rose back above the surface, shaking his wet black hair. As he brushed it away from his eyes, he said, "It's beautiful, but it's not venomous, is it? Venomous snakes are usually colorful ones."
