A Magical World of Wings - Fairy RP - On Hiatus

[ Could I reserve two faeries, one with water/ice powers and the other with fire?
I'll have their forms up as soon as I can. ]

At this point the types of magic don't need to be reserved, since there's no limit. If the amount gets too uneven (e.g. if there's 15 spirit fairies and only 3-5 if the rest) then I'll put some kind of limit. ^^)

Appearance: Autumn has hair of reddish gold, often pulled back in a loose tail, and falling a little past her mid back. Her complexion is rather pale, emphasizing her bright hair. Her wings are a transparent white, and rounded at the tips rather than pointed as some others. She is rather tall for her age, and mostly wears simple tunics.
Sexual/Romantic Orientation: Bisexual
Personality: Anyone's first impression of Autumn would be a bubbly, high spirited girl with little care for what the world thinks. And they would be correct. She is carefree and happy, having simple curiosity over momentous events, whether human or fae, and simply lives her life as she sees fit. Autumn has a passion for all animals and nature, and the only time one could see her grow angry is if one of these two things are hurt. Hence, she sometimes doesn't get on with those who use fire magic. Autumn does have her downfalls, becoming stubborn and snippy when things don't go as she sees fit, and she has a tendency to hold grudges.

Appearance: Sarissa has jet black hair reaching down to her waist, always worn down, and her build is tall and slender. Her wings are a lapislazuli and also slightly transparent, as are most fairy's. Sarissa has a fondness for jewellery and longer dresses/skirts.
Sexual/Romantic Orientation: Straight
Personality: Sarissa prefers not to get involved with others very much, due to personal hurts in her past, leaving some to assume she is cold hearted and dislikes company of any kind. While Sarissa does not exactly throw open her arms to anyone who happens to walk by, she is by no means cruel - she simply appreciates silence and solitude more than chatter and company. If you are close to her, Sarissa is much more open and cheerful; she shows her true self only if you are among these few. Overall, Sarissa is withdrawn, quiet and cool, but can also be gentle and forthcoming as well.

"A...green fairy?" they repeated in confusion. "You mean a plant fairy? In that case, the answer would be 'no.'" Kei wanted to restrict the things they told Iris. Eventually it would probably be given away what type of magic they used, but there was no reason not to try. They already could sense a red aura about her, and her name, but that was all they had at the moment, so they decided to carry on the conversation a bit longer. "I, uh, won't tell anyone, though. Even though someone will eventually find the burned leaves and do something."

Iris tilted her head, a smile appearing on it. "You know, green. Plant, yes. Most plants are green, are they not?" She quipped, grinning. "And fire is red, and my hair and wings are red, making me a red fairy. Water is blue, and my parents both have blue wings, so they're blue fairies," She blushed again. "I guess I just like to keep things simple," She shrugged, resting a palm against the tree and burning her handprint into it. "Besides, it makes sections EASIER," She giggled and shrugged.

Felix walked out into the sunlight, squinting up at it with distaste. "Night time would be more than welcome at the moment," He grumbled quietly, walking amongst the trees. His black wings fluttered slightly, sending a cooling breeze over him. He was much more sensitive to the light than most fairies, being a shadow fairy. He let out a wide yawn, tears coming to his eyes.

There's no set plot (not yet at least), but some people still have open characters, so I suggest you roleplay with one or two of them.)

Alice nodded. She didn't have anything else to ask, so she took a dying leaf from nearby and used her light-manipulating power to change its color to a bright orange. She stared at it. "Actually, I don't like this color," she said softly. She liked playing with the visible light. Really all it let her do was change colors of things, but sometimes that was useful. She changed the visible light reflections a bit more to make the leaf a dark shade of red.

Lilly smiled, "is it that time of year already?" She asked and looked up to the trees. Lilly laid on her back looking up to the canopy of the forests. She put her arm in the air and moved her arm to the left and the branches above did the same. She closed her eyes and smiled as the sun hit her face.

Sections? Is that what she calls them? "That's not always true, I hope you've realized." Kei beat their wings once, to draw attention to them. "My wings are blue. How do you know whether or not I'm a water fairy?" Kei leaned a bit further, but didn't get off the branch they were on. Partly because they liked their space, but also because there was a risk of getting to close to Iris. It would be easier to find out information, but it was possible to accidentally send a telepathic message if they were close enough to her. Kei didn't want that.

Some of the light hit Alice, so she shifted it back towards Lilly. It was more comfortable to be in a dim spot. Hm...I could try to shift the colors reflecting all the leaves around her. Just to see her reaction. As she sat on the around against the tree, she pondered what colored light she should reflect. Should I please her, or startle her...? She changed the light reflecting off the dead leaf back to what it was before, so it was once again a dried-up light brown. It drifted to the ground beside her.

Iris raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "I was raised by water fairies, I know one when I see one, and you are not one," She shrugged and turned way, looking off into the other direction towards where the squirrels disappeared. "And you don't have the energy to be a fire fairy. You've already admitted to not being a plant fairy. So what are you? Shadow, or spirit?" She looked back at him, her eyes half closed, almost looking bored.

Autumn hummed cheerfully to herself, watching as Lagoon flitted from flower to flower below her, drinking nectar. This was one of her favourite spots to sit; the tree was sturdy and comfortable, the breeze fresh and sun bright. Lagoon enjoyed it as well, partly for those reasons are partly for the flowers she had grown below it, perfect for him to eat from.
She closed her eyes briefly, and opened them to see the flower she had grown in her hand, a rose of palest pink. Autumn grinned and inhaled its sweet scent, at peace with the world around her.

Sarissa leaned back against a weeping willow, gazing at the small pond in front of her. The willow sat on its banks, the drooping branches shading it and part of the water around it. The spot provided a quiet spot to relax and simply be alone with your thoughts.
She flicked her wrist briefly and caused a spout of water to shoot from the pond before falling back in with a gentle splash, the fish startled by the sudden disturbance. Laughing gently, Sarissa leaned her head back against the trunk and allowed her toes to slide into the cool water.[/right]

Felix rounded a bend to see a lone weeping willow drooping its leaves towards the water. He peered at it, scratching his arm absentmindedly. There was plenty of shade around it. He flitted into the air, coming to rest on one of the branches. He heard a splash and looked down, seeing the fish dart around in the water. His gaze traveled lower until he saw Sarissa directly below him. He kept quiet, not knowing how to approach the situation. Most fairies avoided him, as he was so, as they put it, 'foreboding'. He watched as she laughed at the fish, bringing a small smile to his face.
