A Magical World of Wings - Fairy RP - On Hiatus

Nolan Sat at the top of the tree, fiddling with the two bluejay feathers he always had tucked behind his left ear. Swinging his feet over the edge of a branch, Nolan breathed deeply, sucking in the air. Controlling his breathing helped him use the air to his advantage, and it helped clear his mind. Dropping down into a free fall from the thin branch, he alighted on his large wings mid-drop. Gliding down to the branch that another fairy was sitting on, he landed lightly, waving a greeting. The plant fairy had looked a tad bored, so Nolan decided to say hello.

Kyan glanced up at the air fairy who had landed on the branch. He smiled. "Hello." He stood up, letting go of his magic force on the leaves. He brushed some of his black hair away from his green eyes. A soft breeze whispered past as he did so; thankfully, soft enough to keep the two fairies on the tree. It was getting lonely just sitting in the tree, so Kyan decided to try to envoke a conversation. "How's it going?"

Nolan felt the breeze die down, thankful that the winds were merciful today. They didn't bother him too much, though, because the wind was his strength. "It's going well, I've made considerable progress in my squirrel research, and am taking the day off. It feels good.." He added, stretching his abnormally large wings and yawning. He flipped his silver hair back to reveal his face markings, and took a feather out from behind his ear to look at it. "And how are you?"

Kyan nodded at him. "It's great that you got this day off. I think the weather is especially nice today." The bright sunlight wasn't in his eyes, thankfully, but it looked nice shining through the leaves of nearby trees. It was the perfect temperature for him too. "Though I haven't had much to do. I'm not necessarily having a bad day, though."

The young 16 year old fairy took flight high into the trees. She gave a soft sigh and sat down on top of the canopy of the forest. She looked at the tree that she was sitting on, "Any rain soon?" She asked the tree. It took a few seconds for it to reply but when it did it replayed as a yes. Lilly smiled and oppressors into the distance, seeing dark-ish clouds in the distance. She gave a even bigger smile and got up. She fluttered down to the forest floor flew off down the small path, maybe she could find someone to talk to.

Nolan sat down near the other fairy, flicking his wrist at a small leaf lying near them. A gust of wind hit the green leaf, making it spiral to the forest floor. "I'm glad to hear your day is going along well, albeit boring. I found a really cool section of a pond awhile back. The water is really nice, and it's blocked off from the rest of the pond. Want to check it out?" He asked hopefully, crossing his ankles and watching a grey-backed squirrel dart across the tree next to the oak.

Nolan sat down near the other fairy, flicking his wrist at a small leaf lying near them. A gust of wind hit the green leaf, making it spiral to the forest floor. "I'm glad to hear your day is going along well, albeit boring. I found a really cool section of a pond awhile back. The water is really nice, and it's blocked off from the rest of the pond. Want to check it out?" He asked hopefully, crossing his ankles and watching a grey-backed squirrel dart across the tree next to the oak.

Kyan smiled and nodded. "Sure, it sounds interesting." He'd been unaware of this section, but that was no surprise. He didn't visit the pond much, since he wasn't much of a swimmer. He wasn't a water fairy, after all.
A ladybug was crawling nearby. Kyan stroked it as he said, "I haven't been in a while. You remember where it is, right?"

Nolan nodded, pointing down the treeline. At the edge of this part of their beautiful forest sat a small pond, and was barely visible from their perch in the tree. "Aye, I remember! It's a place I frequent to study and relax." He said, smiling. Standing up, he beated his blue wings a few times to loosen them. Looking at the other fairy, he gave a thumbs up. "I'm sorry, I'm horrible with names. You are?" Nolan asked, cocking his head in a birdlike manner.

Kyan beat his wings a few times as well before fluttering upward. He gazed at the pond--or at least, what he could see of it--for a few moments. It seemed like a familiar location, so he'd probably been to that particular pond sometime before. He looked up at the air fairy. "I'm Kyan. And it's fine, since I don't know your name either. It begins with an N, doesn't it?"

Nolan nodded, drifting away from
The branch by his own air currents. Beating once with his powerful wings, he moved backwards, looking at Kyan. "The name's Nolan. Ready to go?" He inquired politely, a ghost of a smile upon his lips.
