The Plague (Post-apocalyptic, New and Accepting!)

(I added a brief description of the areas in the quarantine in the first post thingy, everyone should read it.)

Rose

I sit in a corner of the commons, reading a book.

Bryan

Still half-asleep, I climb out of bed and begin wandering in the general direction of the commons.

Annie

I'm one of the first people to the dining hall, having woken up early. I quickly grab some food and sit down at a table near the door.

[Gin.]

Emily

Emily moaned, dragging the blanket over her head, trying to stop herself from waking up. Finally accepting the fact she wouldn't sleep, she got up and stretched briefly.

[horror.]

(Marlene is a girl.)
Leon sat down on his bed and stared out the window. A little light went through the filthy windows, enough for him to read a book.

Marlene tied her long wavy hair into a ponytail and wandered around, not doing anything in particular.

[Faithless]

Mellie hid under her blankets, trying to get the light to fade out so she could go back to sleep. Unsuccesful, she groaned and rolled out of bed - literally. She landed on the floor with a loud groan and stared up at the cieling, somehow hoping it'd make her more awake. Shaking her head, she slowly stood up with a grim look on her face. Then, she quickly got changed, making sure to get her fringe to cover up her face more than usual today, showing the people who knew her more, what mood she was in - a bad one. She marched towards the commons, muttering a song as she went.

Tiffy, who had been awake so long she saw the sun set, then rise, decided to try to fall asleep and get some rest. She closed her eyes, but the thoughts of the plague was what kept her awake. She sat up in her bed and stretched. Then, slowly she gained enough power to step out and drag her sleepy old self to the dining hall, where she sat peacefully on the left side of the room eating a juicy apple. She looked at the wall and a rush of sadness fell over her as she remembered her time with her family members before they died of the plague. She pulled out her heart locket and a tear streamed down her face as she looked at the picture inside. "Just another day..." She sighed sadly as she continued to stare at the photo.

[Gin.]

Emily Jones

Jumped, taken by surprise as she heard a groan followed by a much louder groan and a loud thump. Curious as ever, she poked her head around and noticed that another girl had woken up and was for some reason laying on the floor. Emily walked a bit back as the girl walked past her, unsure if whether she should talk to her or not. Sighing, she walked out of the room and headed for the kitchen hoping to get something good for breakfast.

Annie

I look up and see someone come into the room, one of the other kids, even if she is around twice my age. "Hello!" I say.

[Byrdee ★]

Tiff suddenly hears a slight rumble in the kitchen, she figures someone was just getting a bite and would soon enter the room and find a place to sit. Then she hears a small voice across the room saying hello, she looks up to see a much younger girl sitting down. "Hi!" Tiff says as she wipes her tears and walks over to the girl to introduce herself.

[Faithless]

Hearing her stomache growl, Mellie rolled her eyes. Spinning around on her feet, she changed course and began to head towards the kitchen. Stomping her feet as she went, she began to hum the song louder, until she was singing a sad song under her breath. When she reached the kitchen, she tried to swing open the door but her weak arms failed her. In frustration, she lashed out with her foot, making the door fly open. She marched into the kitchen, her sad song even louder. Noticing a few people in the room staring at her, she glared at them and cut off her song.
"What are you looking at?"

Emily Jones

Emily walked slowly as she noticed that the same girl who had just fallen out of bed was now angrily stalking towards the kitchen. She heard some noises followed by who seemed was that angry girl's voice. Taking a few breaths, she entered the kitchen and tried her best to just seem neutral to everything around her, she didn't want to get picked on and nether the less have to hear more screaming.
