In the chaos of the "free period", Mali managed to sneak into her second class late without attracting attention from the teacher. Not that it would have made a difference, since she usually stopped to get coffee or tea (and, on one occasion, an entire breakfast) before school and missed most of first period anyway. she slipped into the seat behind Duncan with her steaming tea. Rose tea. Her favorite. She nearly took out her own book when she glanced over his shoulder, spotting a familiar flower on the weathered pages.
"Oleander. Very pretty. Very Poisonous. I prefer Astrantia, to be honest." She leaned forward, reading over his shoulder.

she hid herself behind the stairs and waited for her to catch her breath. " why do i have to be so shy and weird ?" at last she caught it and walked out from her hiding place. books calmed her down more than anything that wasnt her crow, cry. reika walked up the stairs and into the library to get her books and go up to feed cry and read

Duncan was a bit surprised by the girl behind him but he kept his cool. He turned around and smiled. "A sister in the craft I presume?" He said coolly. The girl was strange looking. Everything about her screamed witch. He glanced around, wondering how many of his classmates were like him.

Mali grinned, showing off her white teeth. "Oh yes. It goes back generations. So few others, though. We are becoming a dying breed." She laughed quietly, her eccentric jewelry jingling around her neck.

Callista brushed a strand of honey-blonde hair out of her face as she tacked up a flyer to the board. She absentmindedly backed up, right into the two students! Callista yelped, then clapped a hand over her mouth, blushing scarlet.
"I'm- I'm so sorry." she apologized, scooping up her books with lightning reflexes.

Duncan swore as a blonde haired girl bumped into him and the witch girl he was talking to. She was lucky that she was kinda cute because he thought about yelling at her. He looked back up at the witch and smiled. "Namaste, I am Duncan Raventhorne. I hail from the wind in the east." He said and bowed.
