Zack shook his head and looked away. " no, i-i just asked if you wanted me to get your.. Salad" he muttered softly, resting his head on the table and letting his tail sweep the ground

Raven rolled his eyes. Was he even trying to act like nothing was wrong? If so, then he was a terrible actor. "You're obviously lying, so just tell me what's wrong." This time he fully turned his head to look at the moping Neko in expectance.

Zack shrugged and looked at the nymph, eyeing him before speaking. "Do i annoy you?.." He asked softly, drawing little circles in to the table with his finger. "Because if i do, please tell me"

Lucifer smiled softly and nodded, reaching over and hugging toby tightly, burrieing his head in to his chest.

Toby:"im sorry i shouldnt have brought that.", hugging Lucifer around the hips and placing a kiss on the top of his head. "lets talk about something better like your ... birthday, theres the park and well im not really sure whats to do in the town but i want to make it the best day, at least till next year."

Raven looked at him with mild surprise for a moment, then paused to consider the question. Finally opening his mouth, he replied, "Truthfully, yes, you annoy me to no amount." He then let out a small sigh and looked at the Neko from the corner of his eyes, having moved his head back to face forward again. "But... I don't really mind. You make things interesting, and I don't mind spending my time with you. I rather like you actually." He spoke the entire time in a somewhat stiff, monotonous tone, but hoped he got the message across nevertheless. It honestly irritated him more when Zack was moping like this than when he was jumping around like earlier.

Lucifer smiled softly and turned his attention to the cars infront, sighing in releif that they havent mooved. "Well.. Im not a big fan of parks" he shrugged, looking up at the demon shifter

The neko looked at raven before scooting up next to him. "When you speak.. You don't sugarcoat things hm?" He asked with a small smile, jolting and burrieing his head in to his arms, tearing up.

Raven sighed, patting his head in a lame attempt at comforting him. He'd never had someone he was close to his entire life, so comforting people wasn't exactly something he knew how to do. Neither was sparing their feelings, explaining his direct way of speaking. "No, but it's something you'll have to get used to. You probably can tell, but I'm not very good with people. Or cats for that matter, so you're at a double loss."

Toby:Thinm of agood place was hard the city was a mystery to him, "wait, what about watching the stars later tonight?", only hoping that Lucifer would like to do something at least to cheer him up.

zack shook his head and clentched his fists. " n-no, its not that" he whined, his ears flattened agains his skull. "S-someone..my tail..s-steped" he croaked, gently lifting his pained tail on to the bench.

Lucifer looked up and grinned. He loved the night and everything about it. Since he grew up in the worst part of the city, stars were something he'd never get to see. "That sounds great!" He grinned

"Wait really, but i dont really know a place to look at them. I guess maybe the roof, or just the lawn. We can bring the blanket and use that." Relived that he had found something that Lucifer liked, kind of wishing there were more things he knew about Lucifer. Smiling as he watched Lucifer's mood change and face light up.
