Kaei giggled and nodded, "It could've been a lot worse. You're lucky you didn't break any bones." He smiled and rubbed the back of his neck nervously. He hadn't been around another person for a while. To him it felt like meeting an alien for the first time. What do you say? How do you act? All of those things flooded Kaei's mind. "I agree, it's one of the few things that can keep a person sane." He cleared his throat and shifted his feet awkwardly, averting his eyes over to a tree, "For how long were you in that tree? It doesn't exactly look comfortable."

Alaska yawned softly to herself. The young girl was currently leaning against a large tree, humming quietly to herself in pure bordem. This is how most of her days went lately: sleep, eat, and wonder around. There was honestly nothing else to do - the young girl was by herself and quite frankly lonely. She only hoped she wasn't going insane, that would be the worst to happen at this point. She removed her black beanie from her head, letting her hand run through her blonde curls. With that, she brushed her bangs out of her slightly pale face and baby blue eyes. She glanced up before slipping her beanie back onto her head. She kicked a small pebble, watching it bounce away. Only a couple thoughts swarmed her mind and it killed her, emotionally. These days just kept passing slowly.

Kane was sitting on a large rock, one leg pulled up to his chest while he rested his chin on his knee. He sighed and closed his eyes. He could hear the sounds of others moving around the forest, but most people just stayed away from him. He didn't know why. Shrugging to himself, he took a deep breath before opening his eyes. Why do I have to be here? It's so boring! he thought and groaned as he climbed off of the rock.

-- "i was up there for three luxurious hours. I got a five star meal and a massage. The room service was exellent." He was obviously joking, acting as if this tree was a five star hotel. "I was only up there because some crazy kid with a knife decided to attack me, and i decided i didn't want to deal with that. Had to make sure he was gone. That and the view is incredible." He brought his still somehow lit cigarette to his mouth, then blowingthe smoke away from the other boy to not make him uncomfortable. There was something about this that was relaxing, an he figured it was probably the nicotine.

It was times like these that she wished she still had her guitar, or journal. Those items would certainly keep her busy on these slow passing days. Of course she knew she wasn't actually alone, she knew that there were others that were here and such. But she never bothered to just go up to somebody and become friends. It wasn't exactly her thing. And if you haven't noticed, everybody who is locked up here isn't really all that happy and bouncy. She huffed out a soft breath before pushing off the tree, the rough bark leaving marks on her small hands. Everyday Alaska told herself she would go out and find someone, alive, and make friends. But everyday that would disappear and she never would. She cursed under her breath quietly before glancing around the area.

"That sounds like a wonderful three hour stay, I'll consider going there sometime." He grinned, playing along with Harley's joke. "Sounds like a lot to handle, I'd hide up there too, if some kid came at me with a knife." Kaei shrugged at looked up at the tree, "Really? I wouldn't imagine it being that good of a view, with all of the corpses lying around." He cringed at the thought. Once, when he was walking, he'd seen a corpse with missing eyes and vital organs. It was a grotesque sight that Kaei wished to erase from his memory.
