The cold air stung Kaei's lungs every time he breathed, but at least he could. He pulled the hood of his sweatshirt over his head and sat on a road fairly close to the opening of a forest, many deceased humans lay scattered along the asphalt. Kaei had stayed there for a total of fifteen minutes until the sight of these dead people started to bother him.
He stood back up and looked at the woods, debating whether or not it'd be a good idea to go in there, "Well, there's your usual bobcat and bear.. Other than that I don't see any other reason why I shouldn't go in there." Kaei thought aloud and walked into the opening, expecting nothing but a few trees and some bugs.

-- harley ended up almost asleep in his tree, falling out onto his behind. He let out a yell, falling onto his back. The young man grunted in pain, his one blue, one brown eyes flicked upwards to see the sky stretch out in a never ending blue mass above him. damn. he layed there for a moment and ran fingers through his hair, hot pain pulsating all throughout his back. Harley blinked as a leaf fell onto his chest, then attempting to pull himself up into a sitting position once again. The embers from his cigarette burnt his wrist, and he brought the burn to his lips to attempt to make the pain go away.

Kaei was very startled and surprised when he saw a young man fall out of a tree a few feet away from him. He flinched, That looked like it hurt.., Kaei thought. He came closer hesitantly, "Are.. Are you okay?" He didn't want to startle the guy, let alone upset him with his presence so he gave him some room. At the same time, Kaei wanted to run up to him and ask him so many questions, being that he's the only living person Kaei's seen in weeks. But, Kaei knew that wasn't the best thing to do, so he stayed where he was.

-- a new voice startled him, not expecting to see anyone for quite a while. His blue and brown eyes skimmed around him and found another boy, forcing harley to let out a breath of releif. " oh my god." His eyes grew wide after a moment, and he hauled himself to his feet; almost falling over before staggering over to Kaei. He, obviously thought differently, as he put his hands on kaei's cheeks to observe him and be sure he was real. " oh my god! You're real!" He removed his hands from the boy before letting out a sigh of releif. He hadn't seen anyone in weeks, an had began to go a little crazy. He had felt lonely over the time he had been hiding out, and a burst of happiness exploded within him when this person was a) not dead, and b) real.
