Max nodded and jumped out of their hiding spot, grabbing Ash by the wrist and flinging her to the ground. He dove down after her, pinning her arms to the earth floor.

Ruby sprung after them and skidded across the leaves, using her pocketknife to hold her in place

Ruty jumped back in surprise as the hunters jumped out at them. He ran over to Ash and grabbed the two on top of her, ripping them off of the Neko, only to be greeted with a foot to the face from Max.

Ruty slung his elbow into he shoulder, then swiftly punched her in the throat, hope fully loosening her grip.

Ruty smirked at his half victory and swung his foot hard into her stomach. He pulled out a small knife and pointed it at Ruby.

Ruby gritted her teeth and grabbed her pocketknife, spinning it in her hand and pointing it at his upper chest. "Kick me again, demon boy and I'll throw this!"

Ruty put his hands above his head as if to surrender, but quickly teleported behind her and kicked her feet from under her. He brought up his speared tail and pointed its sharp tip at her face. "You sure you wanna do that?" He said, bringing his tail closer to her.
