i watched the door in case Kaei's father walked by or inside the room. I bounced on my toes, waiting for Kaei. I looked at him and smiled. How? Just.. How? How did i get so lucky? Out of hundreds of years of bad things happening, this happens.. Kaei enters my life. Now, I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering. I love Kaei. I'm not sure I've felt this way about anyone, ever,i don't think. He's special, and I'm not ready to let this fade away.

Kaei grabbed his bags and grinned. "I'm ready to go!" He leaned in to give Kasey a kiss, but when their lips were about to touch, Kaei ran out of his room and down the stairs. Him being a tease was a curse, but also a blessing. He waited patiently at the end of the stairs for Kasey to come down. Luke looked at Kaei and said, "Hey, I shot a big ole deer out in the forest over there, wanna help me gut it or somethin'?" All the colors in his face went pale and he shook his head, "No, uh, I like.. Deer.."

I closed my eyes and prepared to kiss Kaei. But then he left, only brushing my lips lightly, making then tickle. I traced my tongue over where they skimmed each other, and I but my lip, sticking a whimper, and chuckling, like I wanted to start a competition. I guided my eyes over to where he left. I let my body stay to GAO in the direction before landing on one foot and chasing after him. I hoped down the stairs and, after changing at Kaei,I saw the deer lay there. I bit my lip after licking them, I became a small bit antsy at the sight. I wanted it. My cravings are reappearing and I need to satisfy them. But not here, not on front of his father. I looked at Kaei to keep my mind off of the deer. And, sure enough, it worked.

Kaei looked at Kasey and back at the deer. He could tell he wanted it and was struggling to not suck whatever blood was left in the corpse. "So, uh, we should be going now, Dad.." Kaei mumbled out his words, only because he knew his fangs were out from smelling the blood. Luke nodded and went into the kitchen, grabbing knives and tools to gut the deer. He pulled at Kasey's sleeve and quickly walked out of the house. Once they were on the porch, Kaei sighed. "That was way harder than expected.."

I followed without any question and stuffed my hands in my pockets when we got outside. I nodded and sighed as well, looking around at the few cars that drove by. "I have a feeling he was testing me. He's a hunter, he knows his stuff about us." I looked at Kaei and shifted to my other foot, pretending to be annoyed. "speaking of which, what is it with you and teasing me all the time? I can't handle it!" I whined like a five year old and lightly stomped my foot on the ground. I smiled and leaned in, licked his lip lightly, and turned my head away, hopping down the stairs. I smirked to myself and walked towards my building slowly, waiting for Kaei to catch up to me.

"Totes, right girl," He said with a twirl for effect. Hearing her description he rolled his eyes. "Yeah, uh, sure, honey." He teased. "I guess we are on the same boat then." Quintan stated. Hearing Chase's suggestion he laughed a loud, deep laugh. "Damsel in Distress? More like your dream boy, sweety." He commented as they walked along. He followed Chase in step, jumping over the log with complete ease and landing softly. "Nice comparison, Einstein." He smirked. "Hey, I impress without trying. It's just something I do naturally." He said with a shrug and smug grin. The sound of food made him walk maybe a bit faster. "Yeah, pie and Latte's sound fantastic." He commented with a nod.

Niko flickered a smile, though it left soon after. He sighed and kept walking before almost stopping and stumbling when he hears September's question. That was not something he was expecting. "Yeah, sure. You don't have to ask." He said, turning to look at her with a soft smile before grabbing her hand in his, wishing they were a couple once again. Maybe they could go somewhere quiet and learn more about each other. That would be nice.

My Dad is the type to do that kind of thing.." He sighed and went inside the building. "He knows a lot about your ki- er, our kind. He has a big book about it in his room." Kaei politely smiled to the lady at the desk and pressed the button to the elevator.

Shrugging, I remembered what happened last night in here. I smiled to myself for a second, them nodded. "I don't doubt it. Wanna kill, gotta know how to do it quickly, properly, sufficiently." I sighed and leaned against the wall. As we got off the elevator, I walked pass Kaei, messing up his hair. I opened the door and held it for Kaei, kissing his cheek as he went by.
