She took off her jacket and put it over a pillow carefully. She managed to find a confortable spot that was warm and looked outside. "Im still not sure about the security of this place" she muttered.

Alex finally settled down, using some bundle of cloth he found elsewhere to prop up his worn pillow. It smelled, well, not the best, but as said before, it would have to do. Besides, he's gone with worse in the past. Leaning back against the pillow he had propped up, he put his arms behind his head for a moment and looked at the ceiling, listening to what she said. Then he replied, "Well, I was fairly confident until you and that other girl came bursting in here. Now I'm not so sure, but it should be okay until tomorrow." He sighed and paused. "If it makes you feel better, we could take turns keeping watch," he added, glancing over in her direction.

She blinked and rubbed the back of her neck nervously. "Heh, sorry" she giggled. "Ok sure, that sounds fine. So whos first?" She asked innocently.

"Because I deserve to know" Britney snapped back at him when he shoved past her "You stomach.into the house that I'm in after obviously following me and you insist on searching it" She added as she followed him onto the room, her arms crossed over her chest, glaring at him "Why is it so hard to answer a simple question?" She asked in a demanding tone.

Bane snorted and shook his head. "Too bad. I'm not telling you." he looked around before taking a step back and watching her. "It's not hard to answer it. I just don't want to. So shut up." he growled, holding his knife up slightly.

Britney raised an eyebrow at what he said "Are you threatening me?" She asked, tilting her head to the side slightly, her face calm and her eyes betraying on emotion as she stared at him.

[[Oops. Sorry for dropping off the face of the internet for a few days. Stuff happened (i.e. blood tests, illness again, etc.). Long story, but I'm back.]]

Alex smiled politely and nodded a little. "No problem," he said. Then he shrugged and added, "Who goes first? I don't know. I guess I'll leave that up to you. If you want, I can go first, or if you want, you can go first. Either works for me."

she sgrugged and yawned a bit. She stiod and stretched "I guess im going then" she said nervously. She grabbd her dagger and gas can. She found an abandoned bullet proof vest on her way and managed to salvage it. She slipped it on and managed to force herself outside.

A slight frown appeared on Alex's face, as if he wasn't so sure about this arrangement. He shifted slightly and watched as she walked out the door, feeling like he should say something. After a moment, he stood and headed over to where she had exited to the outdoors. Peeking his head outside almost cautiously, he looked in the girl's direction, remembering at that moment that he hadn't even gotten her name. "Two things," he said then. "First, what's your name? Second, you look like you're going to fall over and go to sleep, so maybe I should take the first watch."

She blushed embarrassedly and tried to hide it when he mentioned her name. "Oh, right sorry,, i-im Larkai" she blushed deeper. She bit her lip when he suggested her to take the second shift, "U-um, you sure?" she asked enueasily. she wasnt really wworried at what he could do to her in her sleep, but mostly what would happen to him when she slept.
