(Mind-linking is communicating through the mind, if you are able to yourself then basically you can start a conversation in another's head, read their thought, see through their eyes... yeah. If you can't you can converse with another as long as they start/stay in your mind.)

"I can't try to teach you how to mind-link you either have the ability or you don't." He puffed and looked at the two quizzically starting to behave as an actual teacher would, "I will be teaching you how to shield the mind from any unwanted perpetrators. Evie." he turned to her, "Here in this crowd can you feel a buzz in your head? It may be faint but it should be there." stroking his beard he waited. Mayhem's part would come next.

Evie shivered with excitement. She had hoped they would learn to do this soon. She did what Ternfell had said and tried listening to the crowd around her. "I- I think I hear it!" she said excitedly, concentrating intently on the slight buzz. She looked over at her teacher. "So what happens now?"

Chuckling Ternfell patted her on the head, "Locate Mayhem in that clutter of thoughts. It should be easy considering she is right besides you, just like with your natural senses you should feel exactly where she is." he said winking at his slightly older apprentice, 'My dear I'd suggest you be careful of what you are thinking for a few moments.' he told Mayhem through mind-linking a grin back on his face.

Aurora walked out into the street with the hood of her cape pull up. Attica was alert on Aurora's shoulder, peering around at he surroundings, his tail lazily whipping back and fourth. Aurora looked around at what everyone was doing, astounded at all the hustle and bustle. She started towards the center so she could find something to do while she waited for her clothing.

She blushed at Ternfellowdwins words and nodded slowly. She started to clear her thoughts, but focussed on one thing, the number 7. She looked at her teacher and waited for her study mate to finish.

Evie's spirits dropped a little bit when she heard what she was supposed to do. "Um, okay, I can do that. I think," she said, without much enthusiasm. She scrunched up her face and concentrated, trying to pick out Mayhem's thoughts from all the rest of them. After a few minutes she thought she heard them. "I think I found them," she said slowly, determined not to lose focus.

"Oh?" raising an eyebrow Ternfell waited to hear what said thought was. Evie was thinking too hard not realizing that to hear a thought was almost exactly the same as to hear the words coming out of someones mouth, just instead, with ones mind. "If you do then shall we change this up a bit? Try conversing with her," he lifted a knobby hand and pointed at his still grinning mouth, "without this of course."

Semilin-
Cart passing through the gate Sem checked then double checked all of the equipment surprised to find two seater saddles and an empty woven bin among the supply bins. 'There sure are a lot here...' she thought staring at the cart, 'No matter its got nothing to do with me.' she shook her head and looked back at her dragon companion, "Meet me at the east fields?" she asked Celcyia knowing that even one with such a talent as hers could never force such a mighty beast. Taking the dragon's slow take off as a yes she hopped up onto the drivers seat, motioned the messenger to go, and started out the main gate. Seeing a familiar figure out of the corner of her eyes Semilin had the man stop the horses, "Shouldn't you be packing or heading out to the field Alexander?" she asked the knight confused. She had seen him around the castle and knew he was good at what he does but the only time she had ever talked to him before was when she paired him with Salizar.

Evie nodded and focused on Mayhem's thoughts. She reached out with her mind and said tentatively, Mayhem? Can you here me? she waited anxiously for an answer to confirm that she had actually found Mayhem.

Mayhem nodded and thought really hard and answered. Well, it sounded like it came out alright, 'Yes, i can hear you Evie' she linked. She smiled a bit at her teaher. She was really excited.

Larkai-
She pouted upsetly and shugged. "So, need help with somethig? I kinda help out here once in a while, they said I could get anything I need for my mapmarking if I did" she smiled. She hopped off the chair and examined the girl. She could find a trinket or two for her if they even had it in stock. Knights were busy this year.
