Emi was happily skipping down the path to her home, wearing a pair of fake cat ears. "Someone's coming." Emi heard Rina tell her but ignored it. Nonetheless, Emi ran into a girl on accident when she turned the corner. Falling back, Emi looked up. "S-Sorry!" Emi said and crawled over to the girl. "Told you." Rina taunted in her mind.

Justin smiled as they walked into the restaurant. "Order whatever you want." He said as they sat down. "Sir, we don't allow dogs here." A waiter told him. Justin showed him his Government badge and yawned as the waiter nodded and went back to waiting on other tables. "So when did this happen?" He asked as Hunter laid down at his side.

Winter stumbled back a few steps. She glared down at the young girl, buck quickly amended her posture when she saw the young face and her apology. She bent down and held out her hand to the young girl in an offering to help her up. "It's okay," Winter murmured to her. She looked her over and compared her to herself. She didn't look homeless or anything, but neither did Winter, but Winter was starving. "A-Are you o-one of th-them?" She questioned. She needed to know before she revealed herself.

"One of what?" Emi asked, a little confused at her question. "Remember Emi, if she's part of the Government, don't hold back. It would be a life or death situation." Rina told Emi. Emi's shadow grew by a small amount, showing that she would be ready for battle at any time. The growth of the shadow was barely noticeable though.

Winter stopped and looked at the young girl for a moment. She could be a human or a mutant. Or she could belong to a family in the Government. Either way, she would probably end up in the Government's clutches. She looked around and found a plant a few feet away. With a few swift movements of her hands, she extracted the water from the life of the plant and brought it over near them. She formed it into the shape of a ball and held it just above her palm for the young girl to see. "One of the mutants." She replied.

Aito had picked out what he wanted, by pointing to them. He then tilted his head, curious of the badge that let the dog in. He looked back at the man before opening his mouth to speak.
"Mommy and Brother were taken away when I was seven...Daddy left a few d-days ago..." He explained to best of his ability as he rubbed his tired eyes.

Justin nodded, knowing that he shouldn't press anymore questions. Their food came and Justin quietly ate while Hunter slept.

Emi sighed a breath of relief. "Phew, I thought you were part of the Government for a second." Emi said and revealed her own powers by having both of their shadows disappear and turned into a scythe, then to a sword, and finally a bunny. The shadows turned back to their original forms behind them and Emi smiled. "So...I'm Emi! What's your name?" She asked. Emi's happy face turned into a bored expression."I'm Rina." Rina said, using a deeper voice but the same bored tone. Emi's face turned back to happy as she put the cat ears on Winter's head. Her eyes widened and she wrapped her arms around the older woman. "SHES SO CUTEEEEE!!!!" Emi yelled.

Winter looked confused for a moment before grunting. The breath was squeezed out of her and she breathed out, "Loosen hold." With that, she took the little girl's arms and opened them, pulling out of her grip. "Let's walk." Winter, without waiting for an answer began to walk towards a nearby restaurant. "So, who is Rina?" She questioned.

Emi tackled her to the ground again. "SOOOOOO CUTEEEEEE!!!!!" She yelled again, this time loosening her grip a little. She released her grip and put the cat ears on her own head before following Winter at her side. "Rina's my best friend! I've known her since forever." She said. Emi's tone and expression changed once more. "I'm Emi's split being, I can talk to her in her head and instruct her on what needs to happen in bad times and/or if she needs help. I have no body as you can see so I use Emi's as a substitute." Rina said. Her expression changed back. "Eheh...what she said..." Emi added and laughed sheepishly.

Aito practically inhaled the food, but then stopped to ask a question.
"...Who are you? Brother said not to follow strangers...." He asked, eyeing the dog as he spoke. His face looked entirely stoic as he stared at the man with glazed over eyes.

"Justin." He replied simply. "Don't worry, I'm part of social security." He lied but covered it well. Justin didn't want to alarm the kid, I mean the place he works at is the place that took his family. "Seeing a kid on the street alone and looking hungry isn't good so it's my job to help them." He added with a smile. Justin took out a fake badge and showed it to Aito. "See?" He said.
