Personality: Mai is, in short, a Tsundere. Not deredere, oh God forbid. No, Mai is the type to be extremely hostile and cold, and not to mention just rude, to just about everyone she meets. It will take a special and patient heart to bring out the kindness in her. However, because she is used to being so cold and independent, it is often quite difficult for her to get her true feelings across.
History: Well, it's pretty average. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother moved across country. Mai was on her way to see her mother when the plane crashed.
Crush: It will likely be Hibiki. Buuuut, things can happen, and the hearts' wish may change.

Personality: He's a big old teddy bear. Except this cuddly ball of stuffing has claws. And fangs. And a burning desire to protect all things close to him. Akira has an extreme protective streak, and often goes way to far in trying to protect his loved ones. Like, say, his half-sister Mai for example.
History: He shares a father with Mai, who'd gotten his mother pregnant before leaving him just after Akira was born. After, his father found Mai's mother, had little Mai, and got married. While he often felt he was intruding, Akira often visited, simply with the desire to see his father and sister. He was escorting Mai back to her mother's when the plane crashed.
Crush: Nonexistant.
