Kyle looked down at her again. "Do you climb?" he asked, smiling as her hung upside down from one of the branches to crawl onto another one below. He gazed at her expectantly.

"Why do you stay here then?" Andraste asked. She seemed to be making the girl uncomfortable, but she was curious. Humans were curious to her. So many emotions everywhere. She cocked her head to the side as she studied the girl.

Sansa ~ Hawk Shifter

Sansa shrugged. "Where can I go? I don't have the money to catch a plane, it's just easier - financially - to stay here." She sighed. "If I could leave, I'd be long by now." A shiver danced up her spine as her fingers massaged the scarring on her wrists.

"Not really" she said "not a big fan of heights"

"You can fly can't you?" Andraste pointed out. "You could go pretty far on your own." Not like I would know... she thought as she sighed softly.

"Oh." Kyle climbed down from the tree and sat at the base. "So are you going to tell me what you said at Subway?" He knew what she had said, but he wanted to see if she'd say it out loud.

Sansa ~ Hawk Shifter

Sansa shook her head sadly. "They clipped my wings after the incident. They still haven't grown back. But when they do, I'll be outta here."

"Uh... i was talking to myself then..."

Andraste's eyes widened. "You can't fly?" she whispered in horror. She couldn't imagine not being able to fly. Flying was everything to her, especially since she didn't exactly have a home anymore. Even when there was nothing, she still had her wings.

Kyle grinned at her. "I heard you, you know," he murmured. "Are you going to tell me what you are?" He cocked his head to the side, trying to figure it out for himself before she could tell him.

Sansa sighed, tears sparkling in her eyes. "No, not since it happened. I think it would be ok if I had never flown, but because I know what it feels like..." she trailed off, a wistful look in her eyes. "You have no idea."

She opened her mouth the reply, but no words came out.

Andraste was silent for a moment, thinking of not flying. It would be horrible. She knew what is was like to be kicked out of your own home, but to not be able to fly either? She shuddered at the thought. Then she thought of something and her eyes brightened. "What if... someone could heal your wings?" she asked, looking at Sansa again.

Kyle smiled at her, liking this game. "Well? You gonna tell me? Or do I have to guess?" he asked. He looked her over again. "You can't be a vampire, no sharp teeth or red glowing eyes..."
