Amélie nodded softly. "The crystals are about the size of a fingernail, made of stone. You'll know when you've found one."

Isabelle nodded again then ran off a few feet, near the edge of the water. She crouched down to examine the stones in the area.

Amélie took a small look at the lake, and a small spurt of water came from a gap in the ice.

Isabelle saw the water splash and laughed. "Don't splash me!" she called, still giggling, even though the water wasn't near her.

Alex sighed after a moment watching the bird before opening his balcony.Running outside he smiled and hummed looking around to find the boys he was playing with earlier to no prevail.Crossing his arms he sighed "they must have gone home..."He murmered sadly until a loud SQWAAAK caught him off gaurd and made him spin around with a frightened yelp. "Oh it's just you."Alex breathed as he stared at the large crow.He smiled and gave a little chuckle as the bird hopped up to him and flew up perching on his shoulder."Looks like I have a new friend..."he laughed softly as he walked down the courtyard the large bird sitting on his shoulder as if he were but a parakeet.
After a while of walking Alex shifted his shoulders and decided to visit the Iced lakes.Turning on his heel he raced off until he reached the waters edge then smiled.Taking off his jacket he hung it up on a branch before tenderly stepping on a piece of ice ignoring the warning caws from the crow who sat on the shore now.Finding his footing Alex launched himself on another piece of ice and swayed but was able to remain balanced.Eyeing a large piece he jumped onto that as well before happily walking across the lake.
Then suddenly it happened.He felt a cold chill pierce his foot and seep into his boot making him look down.Swallowing he water as the eyes under his feet started to mush and slowly stepped away his heart hammering.As he shifted his weight he felt the ice from a crack that got larger Every time he moved.Anymore weight and he might fall through.Biting his lip Alex was frozen in place staring ,at what could easily kill him, in straight in the eyes.Slowly all the sound was replaced by the loud and eerily slow sound of the ice as the crack underfoot grew.He couldn't even hear the crow on the shore who was screeching it's little heart out and flapping its wings wildly

very honest and dislikes lying
quite intensely the the point of
hate. she also is a very responsible
person and will always fulfill
promises she is given. however, she
is not very social and tends to be
very silent towards those she does
not approve of or do not know. she
is very intelligent, but often will
not say what she is thinking aloud
because she is not very good at
speaking her emotions & thoughts.

cameron has long, waist length dark brown hair.
it's very straight and she often braids it or puts
it into a ponytail to keep it out of her way. she
has bright green eyes that turn to a deep gold
when she is using magic. they are a little larger
than norm, not much, but enough to look cuter
than average. (Fun fact: we think youngsters
(2-3 etc year olds) are cute because the eye
is fully grown at age 2. It is larger and thus
looks cute.) she has pale skin with a light
dusting of freckles on her cheeks. she is very
short (around 5' 3") and very slim as well. she
has high cheekbones. she tends to wear
foresty colors, preferably something
comfortable. she tends to dislike dresses, she
finds them hard to move in. she carries a long,
wooden staff wherever she goes, but when she
is working, she'll find a good place to hide it,
for she uses it to better channel magic. she
can use magic without it, but she gets less
exhausted if she uses magic from the reservoir
inside her staff. she has to replenish the
reservoir with her own energy, so she'll wait
until a calm time to do that. (so in the end she
spends the same amount of energy, just at a
different time.) all in all, she's quite a pretty
woman.
