I force my bad wing closed, then use it, along with my good wing, to make a splint for my leg. It isn't pretty, but it'll hold. "I'm Maraille," I say. "What's your name?" I try again to stand up. My leg still hurts, but it should be safe to walk on.

She watched as she worked with her wings. "I'm Jenna." she watched as Maraille tried to stand, "Hey, do you need help?" Maraille looked in lots of pain. "Would you also like some ice?" her kind and helping side always kicked in.

Jayden puffed out his cheeks, letting out a quiet sigh when he noticed her glaring at him. He blinked when he saw her smile at him and looked down at his shoes. "Actually, I forgot your name already, and I'm Jayden." he said, looking back up at her.

Hmm...Jayden..I'll try to remember that, she thought to herself. She looked at him with her emerald eyes, "Jayden...cool..Im Lyra, call me anything you want except the devil, whatever you do, never call me that." she warned him, her voice was stern and her eyes burned with anger, showing she wasn't kidding.

(two angels have met up with/found their humans one is basically being a pain and ended up saving her human, the other broke her leg and her mechanical wing so if getting help from her human thats about it. If you want Andrew can be Mercy's angel shes on the same page.)

Walking out of the hospital Mercy sighed. It was getting worse and the doctor said that if she didn't get the surgery done soon she might die. What was that about? They have been saying the same thing for the past nine-ten years and she wasn't dead yet but still... she felt her throat a wave of sadness crossing her face before she shook her head. No it was best to leave things as they were. Knocking on a window made her remember where she was as she turn to see two children smiling and waving at her, a nurse watching over them. Smiling and waving timidly Mercy turned back around and started the walk home.

Andrew walked around, he had his wings hidden. He saw a familiar girl walk out of the hospital, he knew it was Mercy. he has been her guardian for years now, ever since she was little. He occasionally would appear and talk to her and comfort her and look over her since he was her guardian Angel. Andy looked at her and felt a slight smile appear on his lips, before he felt the sadness that filled her hit him like a tidal wave. His smile faded away as his dark gaze went sad and soft. He saw Mercy start walking back to her home. Andy rose to his feet and buried his hands in his pockets of his jeans as he walked, following after her. he felt his wings wanting to come out but he knew he had to keep them hidden while he was around humans.

Humming while she walked the short distance to her house she felt a little better and soon started to mouth the words reaching her front porch. Unlocking the door she stepped inside and closed it. The house was empty as usual but it no longer got to her like when she was little, a memory trickling within the corners of her mind helped ease the pain. Taking care of the few things she had on her she walked into the sitting room and opened the slider to let some air in before sitting at a white stand up piano to play 'Heart and Soul'. It was one of the songs her grandmother taught her to play that allowed her enjoy music even when she couldn't sing though she still commonly did so anyway using her voice only for that.

"I'll be fine," I say to Jenna. I limp shakily over to her couch, wincing slightly every time I put weight on my bad leg. "So, are you alone here?" I ask, sitting down and putting my leg up. "Do you have any family?"

~Angel ~ Human: Mercy ~ Eighteen (78)~

Andrew heard her humming and smiled as he whistled a tune that went along with what she was humming. He soon saw the familiar home in which Mercy and her family lived in. He however, already knew that practically no one was inside, as he saw her walk inside. he sighed before he climbed over the fence and walked to the sliding door and leaned against the doorframe carelessly. He remembered when Mercy was little and she and her family use to think he was her imaginary friend. He chuckled quickly, not sure if she still thought of him as her imaginary friend now. Andy however, listened quietly to Mercy play on the white piano, he recognised the song as 'heart and soul'. He smiled as he closed his dark eyes and let himself get lost in the song. the memories of when he watched Mercy and her grandmother play the song.

Jayden nodded slightly and smirked. "Whatever you say, dev-" he was about to call her the devil, but quickly decided not to when he saw the look in her eyes. He swallowed. "Um, yes ma'am." he blinked. The boy quickly looked away and didn't say anything.
