She followed Jayden from above and saw him pull out a picture, she wondered who it was of but she decided she didn't really care and it didn't matter who. She went down into the tree near the house of Jayden but then it suddenly started raining right when she sat on the tree and she got soaked which made her wings heavier and made it harder for her to fly. She flew down under the tree to stay safe. She sat under the bare tree which didn't provide much of a shelter from the rain and she was soaked and sat there as it rained. She shivered, the rain was cold and there was a light breeze too. I wish Jenna could see me...it sucks being a guardian angle... She closed her eyes, she felt the raindrops on her, their light thumping against her head. She felt cold, if her mood was a weather, it would be like the rain falling right now.

Her eyes widened, she was now pretty scared, she wanted to make sure no one got hurt in the process or their possessings. "Uhh..I think it'd just be a better idea if I just went home I guess, I wasn't really looking forward to this any way..." she turned her car around. It was raining any ways and was the worst kind of weather and made her feel even more sad and made her miss her sister more. As she turned, she thought of maybe picking up a coffee or something nice to eat which would cheer up the mood, "Do angels...like eat? Cause I'm gonna pick up a coffee or something so maybe if you'd like some..." she just let the sentence just fade.

Jayden got up and peeked out the window. He saw her sitting under the tree by his house and smirked a little, but he hoped she didn't see him. He did feel a little bad, but then he decided it was her fault she was getting wet. She could leave if she wanted. He shrugged and sat back down on his bed, sighing.

"No thanks, angels don't eat," I say. "Or sleep. Or breathe. The whole survival thing is kind of a nonissue." I put my wing back in my splint. "Not that you'd know it from looking at us, of course," I mutter under my breath.

She felt like someone was watching her but somehow sensed it was Jayden, Maybe some kind of power or something... she thought, but she didn't even dare to look towards him. She didn't mind getting wet, it was just the way it was making her feel, she got up and decided to have some fun to lighten her mood, she didn't care if he was looking at her, she never did in her past life, why would it matter now. She got up and looked at the tiny puddles that had been created, she walked into one, splashing as she did. It made her feel somewhat better. She kicked into the puddles as she walked through them. She smiled a small smile, she remembered how her sister and her used to splash each other by jumping into puddles so the other could get soaked. She shook her hair to get it out of her face and ruffled her black wings. She looked up at the sky and opened her mouth and stuck out her tongue to drink the little raindrops that fell.

"Oh...ok." she said, "Is there anything I could do for you though? Anything?" she felt the need to ask her that question.

"It's not about what you can do for me," I say, "It's about what I can do for you. I lean back in the seat and strectch my leg out. "You know, I'm kinda surprised," I say with my eyes closed. "You haven't asked me if I know your sister or not yet."

She smiled, her guardian angle was so nice. Did she know my sister?! she thought after the question, she had almost stopped the car. She had never brought it up, it just hurt too much to talk about her. "Do you know her?" a million questions filled her head but only one she asked, not wanting to bring her hopes up too high.

"As it so happens, no," I say. "But that's not really a good indicator, I don't know many other angels. Three years isn't a lot of time to make friends. It'd probably be better to ask another angel, one who's a little more socialized than me." I'm not sure it's a good idea to just say it outright, I'm still not too familiar with human emotion. I figure she's better off with the truth than with whatever lie I could come up with.

Her heart dropped, "Oh..ok..well if she's an angel and if you see her, she has red hair. She can have a pretty mean attitude by the way." she informed Maraille, she still had a tiny streak of hope. She went through the dunkin donuts drive thru to get a small sweetened pumpkin spice flavored coffee. She took a tiny sip of it, and felt the hot fluid warm her insides. It definitely helped her feel better. "Can Angels like eat if they want to, or is it like you can't eat at all even if you wanted to?" she was still really confused about the angel business and how they were, this was all new to her as of now.

"To be honest, I've never really tried," I say. "Most angels regard eating as a purely human pastime, and human security systems now are too advanced to miss a quarter pounder with cheese floating out the door." I have to admit, the smell of that coffee is pretty enticing. I've got a mouth, so I've always assumed I have a stomach to go with it, but I've never really been sure. X-ray machines are a little scarce where I come form.

(I just listened to the Final Masquerade and fell in love with it myself >.< Angel with a Shotgun is something all my friends enjoy(one of them played the nightcore version recently and everyone sang along with it it was awesome ^^))

Mercy's swaying slowed to a stop, her eyes opened to watch him. A smile grew on her face when he asked her what she thought and she clapped as an answer. Was he a bit embarrassed? Unsure? Why? Mercy didn't ask knowing he wouldn't answer but made sure he knew that she appreciated his effort and loved every moment of it. She didn't need to know the reason to do that.
