Bonny rolled his eyes, but he couldn't help smiling. "Oh, come on now you big baby face," He ruffled Lux's hair. "I'm flattered, really~."

Lux pushed himself up from the piano "yeah, yeah I know, you're flattered but ... Insert excuse here" he pushed a small smile onto his face " I know how this goes, so I'll make it easy for you alright" his words weren't tinged with venom or even sadness , instead they were blank, returning his voice to its normal soft lull

"What are you talking about..?" Bonny frowned in confusion, tilting his head. "It's just a crush, Lux. It's nothing to worry over~."

Lux frowned, his ears pinning back against his head as confusion clouded his mind "But you -But... Yeah I guess it's nothing to worry about" he let the smile drop from his face completely and he pulled his sleeves over his hands "if you don't mind, I've got a garden to attend to"

Bonny felt a little guilty then, but wasn't going to lead the poor boy on. He bit his lip as he watched him go. "B-be careful.." He called weakly, beginning to regret his own words a little.

Lux hesitated at the doorway, his hand catching briefly on the door frame "Yeah... Yeah I will" He murmured into the quiet ball room before leaving, biting his lip and clenching his hand in a mental effort not to turn back around. He let his chest start to heave when he pushed through the doors to the garden, his bottom lip wobbling as he settled himself by a border at the back of the gardens.
