Lux paused, freezing his movement mid step as his sensitive ears picked up on not only the melodic hum around the corner of a hedge to his right, but the footsteps of a girl some where behind him. His fingers twitched, responding to his sudden peak in his senses whilst his mind processed the situation.

Ashley noticed him pasued and her eyes grew big as she realized she was spotted somewhat. Turning to the neared bush or anything that will hide her she ran to it and hid not sure of what to think yet. Maybe it was one of the gardeners or a guest or just some random person for all she knew in the dark.

Lux turned his head towards the darkness in which the girl was last heard in and gave a small nod of acknowledgement, as if to say 'you have nothing to worry about' before continuing down the short path. He settled himself on the edge of the subtly lit pond and let himself relax, his ears lowering on his head as his eyes fluttered closed.

Ashley watched and felt somewhat better. She stepped out and decided to follow him to find out who he was. Once she got near him as he was sitting by the pond that it was Lux. now she felt really dumb for not thinking about it. "What are you doing?" She asked questionly flicking an ear.

Lux tensed for a brief second as the voice hit his ears, the sound startling his for a moment before realizing it was Ashley
"I believe most teens call it chilling out Miss" he let a small smile toy with the corners of his mouth, easily perceivable as his invitation for her to sit "I think the more important question is what are you doing?"

Fawkes sang peacefully, blissfully unaware of the others in the garden.

Ashley carefully sat down next to him so she didn't egt the dress that she was wearing muddy or anything because it was the bosses dress that she had to wear. She frowned slightly at his question and said "I'm just getting some fresh air and to get away from the party for a bit. I'm not good with being in a room with a huge crowd of strangers and I can't dance. So that just leaves me with nothing to do so I left."

Lux perked his ears up at the song and smiled a little, making a mental note to find out what song it was "now Miss I'm sure that's not true, everybody can dance" his eyes settled on the rippling water below him and his head tilted to one side as he followed a small white koi , his pupils dilating in the dark "even this fish"

Ashley sighed and watched the fish. "I think you're right but I don't even know how. By the way, you can call me Ashley not miss if you like."
