"I-I play guitar a little bit," He answered sheepishly. "I think I'll be fine if you show me the notes."

She nodded and stepped behind him. She looked at what was supposed to be the bridge of the violin and passed her hand over it to ensure it was still there. Yup. "Okay.. Well..." She plucked the strings, starting from the thinnest one and ending up with the thickest one, "The strings are E, A, D, and G" each string glowed a bit when she plucked it and then she passed her hand along the neck of the violin, "Nad here are some finger positions... They're simply just.. 1,2,3 and 4..." She paused to show him where the were and stepped away a little, "Can you remember that?"
Her voice was lower now, signaling that she was calm, which to be honest, she really wasn't.

Fawkes nodded and repeated her movements, first plucking each string and then moving his fingers along each position, getting a feel for it all. "Yeah, I-I think I got it."

"Okay. And the bow... You just put it on the string and play, but I'm pretty sure you already know that." She smiled and then put her own hand on her violin, "Alright, I suppose I'll just teach you the first few notes for now, okay? Just watch and try to remember. If you mess up we can try again. No worries though, nobody's perfect." She tried to encourage him. She had failed the first few times, but eventually she got it. She began to play the first line of the song and then put her violin to her side and looked at Fawkes, the light from her strings diminishing.

Julie kept looking,"any preferences?"


Tancered frowned shaking with fear,"no no no no I'd rather be a pet."

Fawkes watched quietly, carefully, before attempting the first few notes himself. He tried twice, missing the last two notes each time. He laughed a little, seeming embarrassed and looking back at her. "H-how did that go, again...?"

Kadra smiled "ok whatever you want to call it I will call it"

"Well for this being your first time you're actually doing awesome. It goes like this." She played it again, this time playing the last two notes a bit slower. "The finger position moves down a little lower than normal on the last two." She walked over to him and put his fingers where they were supposed to go, "H-here."

Fawkes looked up at her as she moved his fingers. For a moment he found himself distracted, staring up at her face, then he shook his head a bit, focusing back on the strings. "R-right, thanks.." He said, sounding a tad more nervous than before. Again he tried twice, hesitating and messing up on the first time, but then smiling the second time when he successfully played through the first part.
