She smiled and took off her jacket, allowing her crumpled wings to tumble out. "Let's head, shall we?" She said as she climbed a tree to get some height before taking off.

"Okay." Matthew quickly morphed into a small bird it was the first thing he thought of. "Let's go!" He said flying up to the trees next to her.

Nevaeh blinked in surprise. She tried to cover up her shock but she was pretty she she saw the bird laughing at her. "Lead on!" she cried and took off into the sky.

"Ooh, tomorrow's gonna be a problem. I have a tight schedule of wandering around and feeling paranoid." I grinned. "But I'll try to squeeze you in." I beckoned to Vita, gesturing at her to follow. I pushed back branches and hiked through thick scrub that scratched my bare calves. Finally we reached camp, a little clearing flooded with shafts of light, dappled by the leaves of the trees above. I sat down on the springy grass and patted the vegetation next to me. "I don't bite," I joked.

Vita sat down with Thea, drinking in the beauty of the Light Camp. It truly was a sight to behold. She lay on the soft ground, feeling safer than she had in years. "So, is there anyone else in your Pack?"

"There used to," I said shortly, not wishing to go into the details of the day I'd come back to find rivers of blood staining the grass and Abbadon the demon tearing apart my camp. Then, to lighten the mood, I said, "They ran out on me when they realised I couldn't use my powers to barbecue rabbits." I leant back and watched the clouds pass by. "It's been lonely. But now you're here, I can stop talking to myself. I pulled and apple of the tree and chucked it to her. "Have one. They're good."

Vita caught the apple, her hawk reflexes kicking in. Thea tried to joke about the rest of her pack, but Vita could tell there was more to the story. Clearly though, Thea didn't want to talk, so Vita let it slide. She bit into the apple, her teeth sinking deep into the soft flesh. Juices exploded and ran down her chin. She laughed and wiped it away with her hand. "You're right, they are good."
