Jacob

Jacob walked slowly through the city. This wasn't a good idea but this was where all the supplies were and he was already half starving. Jacob spotted a supermarket and walked into it he spotted a zombie behind the counter and he ducked to avoid its gaze. He walked along an aisle grabbing food off the shelves. Zombies ate flesh and people not normal food so there was still plenty left. Jacob pulled his gun from his belt and then began creeping back to the door. Suddenly a zombie appeared in front of him, he leveled his gun and shot the zombie in the head then ran out of the supermarket and tore down the road that lead to the forest.

Bec
She was wandering around the forest, following her usual morning routine of gathering food. A tiny movement caught her eye and she spun to face the source. She looked carefully through the ground fern and saw a patch of brown fur. Bending down to examine it, she pushed the leaves aside and saw a tiny animal. It didn't look like anything she had seen before, but sort of resemble a possum. Whatever it was, it was in pain, Bec could tell that much. She put her hand under it and levered it up off the ground. Now she could see the source of the animal's obvious pain. There was a gash in it's tiny leg. It was a surprise it had survived this long with such a terrible wound. Bec placed the animal on a patch of soft pine needles that littered the forest floor. She unzipped her backpack and searched through it until she found her first aid kit she had taken from a pharmacy in one of the towns she'd passed. First she let a little precious water from her canteen run into the wound. Then she put disinfectant on it and pulled out her needle and thread. She had stopped being grossed out by this sort of stuff a long time ago. She tied off the knot and wound a bandage around the leg before putting disinfectant on the needle and replacing everything in her pack. Then she picked up the animal, Amelia, she decided, and continued her search for food.

Delphene walked down the abandoned road that she used to live on. She was stepping lightly, and heard a zombie walk up behind her. With one swift move, she pulled out a dagger out of her boot, and stabbed it in the head. She chuckled, and started running. She smelled food. Being cooked. Not zombie, she had smelled that before, no this was, "Chicken" she whispered. And let her nose lead her to the smell.

Bec
"Idiot." Bec thought to herself as the sweet, beautiful, delicious, incredible, wonderful... Ok, ok, as the smell of cooked chicken came wafting towards her from the town nearby. Why someone would cook food like that around here, Bec had no idea. It was one of the stupidest things she had ever heard of. This smell would attract creatures and people and zombies from miles around. But the temptation of hot food overtook her. She was also lonely and if someone was cooking, they obviously weren't a zombie. A long, low groan made her spin around only to come face to face with one of the undead. Taken by surprise, Bec simply sprinted away until she was a safe distance to pull out her sub-machine gun and blow the zombie to pieces. Considerably shaken, she continued on her path to the food until she reached the edge of the forest.

Delphene kept running until at least she saw it. The source her nose smelled. It was a farm. A real running farm. Well, at least it looked like it was running. If it hadn't have been for all of the chickens burnt to a crisp. "Dern" She sighed to herself. She heard leaves crunching behind her. She pulled her katana out of it's sheath, and pointed it in front of her, towards whatever was coming at her.

Bec saw nothing but a blur and a very sharp piece of metal pointed straight at her. She put her hands up in a 'surrender'. "Hi... I'm Bec... I don't want you to kill me?"

"What are you doing here?" She asked at the person standing in front of the blade. Delphene was nervous. She rarely had human connections before, and she wasn't really i the mood to deal with people. "Where are you going, If I may ask?"
