Oliver watched them go, he sighed and stood up; Oliver pulled off his hood, revealing his black eye from where the bullies had punched him earlier. Oliver grabbed an Ice pack and lightly pressed it against his eye, wincing in pain as he did so.

[horror.]

Suddenly Lavender ran up to him and gave him a spine breaking hug. "Don't give up, keep on going." She smiles and runs away into the darkness to go get firewood.

[~Coddie~]

Oliver sat there, shocked at what lavender had just done. "That was my first hug..." he said quietly to himself.

[.galaxy.]

Looking back at Oliver, he broke out laughing. "Awww, Papa's so proud, you're no longer a hug virgin. Baby step, baby steps." He teased lightly, climbing to his feet and jogging after Lavender. "Little Cricket!" He called, cupping his hands around his mouth to enhance the volume of his voice. "Where'd you run off to, eh?"

[horror.]

Lavender jumped on his back "BOO!"

Oliver slumped back into the corner of his room, he closed his eyes and pulled his hood on again. He couldn't stop thinking of what Elliot had said, 'I never knew my parents...' he thought to himself as a tear ran down his cheek.

Elliot nearly dropped to the ground as something-or someone- jumped onto his back shouting 'boo!' After precariously balancing himself, he grinned slyly. "Never mount a stallion without proper gear, little Cricket." He warned, and unceremoniously dumped her off his back onto the nearest bush. At this point he just broke out laughing.

Having not heard her move yet, or talk for that matter, he quickly grew worried. "Lavender? You alright?" He asked carefully, trying to feel his way back to the bush he plopped her on. Why can't humans have night vision? This sucks. He thought with a frown, shuffling around in the darkness.
