I nod. "You to." I smile, and as if to ruin the moment, my stomach roars. I turn my head away, embarrassed.

I quickly tap his hand away "don't touch it you'll cut yourself......" I say softly and I grab a towel from the counter picking the peaces up carefully with it.

I open the door and chuckle "come on...let's get some food in your stomach" (that would ruin the suprise)

"Yay!" I giggled, rushing in after Zero. I forgot that he had just taken a step into the beach house and slammed into his back. It was surprisingly...comfortable, and warm, his wings brushing against my face. Backing up, i flushed. "Sorry!" I squeaked, embarrassed.

I chuckled at her softly. I turn around and pat her head with a soft smile "it's fine...." I say softly. I then head into the kitchen and ask "so what would you like my little jumping bean?"

(AWWWW SUCH AN ADORABLE NICKNAME! How old is Zero again?)Smiling at the nickname, which i found i liked, i bounded after Zero into what i assumed to be the kitchen, thinking. "Do...do you guys have watermelon? I haven't had watermelon since i stayed in Guatemala for a week." I shuddered at the memory of being chased out.

I think for a moment then open the fridge "ya we do actually...." I say with a smile pulling a half of a watermelon out and placing it on the counter.

Without a second thought i grabbed the watermelon and pulled out my pocketknife. Splitting the watermelon into smaller slices, i shoved one in my mouth, and then offered one up to Zero.

I mumbled a response around my watermelon slice, and then realizing Zero wouldn't understand me with my mouth full, i quickly finished off my slice and threw away the rind. "I know...but i wanted to be nice. Was that not nice? I don't have much experience with others....actually i don't have any. Oh jeez i sound like a total social reject! Ignore that..." I began rambling, feeling more and more confused by the second.
