Killian was slightly surprised the boy didn't try to deny what he asked. Most people weren't so brazen when caught spying on another, then again if Karl was spying on him then it meant one more person in this town already knew about him. How long till the whole town knew at this rate? He grinned at Karl slightly ,"What can I say, ladies love me. Can't be eating the people I might just shag not can I?" He didn't really mean, but he was eager to see the boys reaction.

He smiled slightly, surprised by the tone in the boys voice. Usually Killian would have made a joke about how he must have really had no friends if he had to make his bird his companion, instead he just smiled sincerely. Or as sincerely as he could, and didn't say anything. Killian was witty and intelligent but he seemed almost unable to say anything without making a joke, therefore he kept quiet.

Killian shrugged slightly ,"Well seems the dreams of being taken as human have been dashed." He looked away from Karl for the first time sense he began speaking to him, staring at the ground for a moment, almost as if he were a little boy who had gotten caught in a lie. "I don't have much to say, but I won't refuse to answer an actual question if that's what you're really asking."

Kai looked as if she could care less about who he was seducing, it would be his fault if trouble started from impregnating every available woman in the village like a young buck among does during autumn. Typical males, all they seemed to want from a female was to bed them and be done with it. She was disappointed to see that Killian was one of those males, even more reason to dislike him.

" They're a dead giveaway, so naturally I'd be a very dead half-wolf if any human saw."

He frowned at the distinct lack of a reaction from the boy. If anything Karl seemed to be even more ticked with him. "T'was only kidding of course," he muttered, probably not even loud enough to be heard. He hadn't met anyone he was really interested in this town yet. He had found plenty people willing to be turned, more than willing actually, and he was glad for that. However no one here from what he could tell would be a good mate for him. And he wasn't the kind to just sleep around with anyone.

Killian perked up slightly at the boy hinting at being like him. "Only half," he repeated, frowning slightly again. He had gotten so happy just for a moment, the thought of not being alone anymore, perhaps he always would be without a pack. Killian leaned forward slightly taking a better look at his teeth. He reached up running a finger over his own teeth, though his own canines were larger than a regular humans for the most part they looked human. "How odd, it looks cool though," he offered. "If you stay in this area pretty soon there will be no one that can hurt you, I'm getting rid of the would be tomorrow. With only one hunter here it won't be difficult either," he smiled to himself, glad he was now helping more than himself in getting rid of the man.

The Irish man frowned at the question. He had said he would answer any question. "Born," he said after a few moments. "My dad was a full, uh, Varl and my mother was half. It would have been unlikely for me not to inherit it. However my parents hid it from me for a long time, it didn't end very well when I finally turned," he laughed slightly. Not that there was anything funny about what happened, but he wasn't sure how to act about things like that.

Half was better than nothing, and it's not like they were viewed any differently in the eyes of a human. " Lacking the ability to shape shift doesn't make me any less of a Varl in other aspects. I've still got the spirit and the stomach of a wolf in my being." Her appetite was insatiable and unmatched by any who dared challenge her. As for her spirit, she was no stranger to the unstoppable, blood hungry rage that their kind was infamous for.

Her former surprise was replaced by shock and a sense of critical urgency when she heard of his plan to off the last hunter in town. Her voice took on a deeper more serious tone as she spoke again, " So you're just going to waltz up to this man and tear his throat out? I understand that's it's our kind against theirs but killing that man is CAG MAG!( crazy) Do you have any idea how much trouble's going to start once there's been a murder? When people from the next town over catch wind of it?"
