Kaia choked on her coffee as Kyo spoke, nearly spilling it on her kimono. "I meant nothing of the sort! I-I was just saying someone other than you!" He face was beet red at this point, her tail puffed up a bit. She really hadn't thought that she was describing Chyn- she was pretty much just making up characteristics that she figured didn't quite suit Kyo. In her eyes she didn't have a 'type,' she found such claims to be ridiculous. "And I don't see everything. Just the balance if someone's spirit and their aura. It's not that much." She mumbled, attempting to smooth down the fur on her tail with her free hand. "I agree with you about Chyn's aura, though. I can't see it very well- my sight of ones aura improves the more I know them- but Chyn's is very dark, as if there is something he doesn't want to show or want others to see. I find it curious and worrying all in one."

Logan is waiting for a reply.

She smiled and waved "Hello." She purred softly at the company, blushing softly. "Im Cassandra but people call me Cass, who are you?" She stepped forward.

Ina smiled hesitantly, "Im Ina." She giggled, "It's nice to meet you Cass." Her ears twitched and her tail wagged happy that she met another person.

Kyosuru shrugged a little "Ayane taught him some stuff. She was like you, able to see emotions and auras and balance and such. Not to the same extent. But, I think she taught Chrno how to hide himself from the world. By the way, Ayane was our big sister. She was about 2 and a half years older than me. And I'm almost 3 years older than Chrno. [a/n: I'm never revealing their ages lol muhahaha] she was the prettiest one. She had this awesome pale blond silver hair. It was almost white, but it was still silver. And she had these amazing yellow eyes. But anyway, Chrno was closest to her. But, one day, she disappeared. And Chrno was just a little kid, only 11 years old. He was finally opening up and being normal. But, then, on his way home from school. He saw Ayane... In an alley by the local play ground. She... She was dead. Murdered, quiet brutally. And when I got home because I was called out, he seemed... Empty. I mean, mom and dad were in tears and I was crying to. But, he just sat there. Like... Like a little doll." He sighed softly. "That's the story of Ayane..."

Kaia was entranced by his story, and by about halfway through she had a hand over her mouth to hide her shock. By the end, she really didn't know what to say. So she kept silent for a few moments before speaking slowly, carefully choosing her next words. "That's horrible. I don't know what I would have done in that situation. I'm probably extremely far off the mark here but... I would have to guess that Ayane's loss shocked Chyn the most- he was beginning to open up and then that happened. At such a young age it might have been burned into his mind that what happened was the consequence of opening up, of letting someone in," she said softly, staring at the table. She couldn't begin to imagine how it would feel to lose the only person you truly connected with. It would be devastating. Even thinking about losing her little brother, she didn't think that if it happened, her grief would begin to equal that of Chyn's. To see his sister- the only one he had truly opened up to- lying there, murdered, it seemed almost surreal. "I can't begin to imagine it." She breathed.

Logan is waiting for a reply.

Kyosuru he looked confused and shook his head. "No, Chrno always was very open with Ayane. No, I mean, he started being a normal kid. But, I guess. It... Ayane, near the end, hinted that she though he was schizophrenic or something. I am not really sure. But, anyway, that's not the end of it." He sighed and steeled himself for the next bit "So, Chrno was sad for a really long time. And, I guess, maybe 3 years after Ayane's death. He meets this cute neko. All a bundle of fluff and with these beautiful caramel colored locks. He was so cute I swear, you could get cavities from looking at him. His name was Ryan, of all things. He was this cute little guy and he and Chrno were together. And, Chrno was.. I guess normal for about 2 years. And then, out of the blue. He breaks up with Ryan. For seemingly nothing. "

Kaia frowned, listening in silence until Kyo was finished. "Maybe something happened. Perhaps Mr. 'Gives you cavities from looking at him' wasn't all he cracked up to be?" Just after she spoke, something hit her. Wait... Is Chyn...? She mentally smacked herself, Not the time Kaia, worry about that later. Now is serious. She was silent for a bit, hands in a steeple position under her chin. "I haven't the slightest idea what could have caused this- apart from Ayane's passing, and Chyn's possible schizophrenia of course." She said softly, taking a sip of coffee. Lowering her hand to place he cup back on the table, she missed the table and successfully spilt about half the cups contents all over her kimono. "Ah!" She yelped, swiping a handful of napkins from the table and dabbing at the probably stained fabric. Cursing under her breath, she looked up at Kyo with an apologetic smile, "don't worry about this, please continue."

"Is... That a compliment?" Yuki asked.

Haku started to feel more worried. "I-i should get you to the school nurse.."

Snow slowly nodded "o-okay" she said as she fell to her knees

Seth chuckled and finished eating. He got up and threw his trash away his tail swishing happily. Seth crossed his arms and smiled at Rin, "Still thanks."
