Edgar / male / vampire / a bit bored, calm / with: Ariea in the garden
A kind smile spread across Edgar's thin lips, illuminating his pale face a bit. "I'm not surprised," he said, looking up at the sky. "Most of us are nocturnal..." He bit his lip lightly as he recalled all the times he'd been referred to as 'impure.' Edgar hated not being like all the other vampires, but he'd hate himself even more if he changed just to fit in. "I've never met a water spirit, to be honest, but I've heard cool things about them." He cocked his head slightly as a bird fluttered near him, chirping a sweet melody, and then flapped away speedily. "Whether they be stereotypes or not..." He murmured, thinking of all the things people believed about vampires. To get one thing straight, and it might just be only him since Edgar was an oddball, he thought garlic was a delightful addition to dishes.
Lyra / female / dragon shifter / surprised, in disbelief, calmed / with: Ruvel in the gazebo
Lyra's mouth dropped to the floor for one: she had guessed correctly; and for two: he had just half shifted right there in front of her. Lyra lacked such an ability to be between her two forms, but she knew what Ruvel was immediately.
Of course he's not on the brink of extinction Lyra reminded herself because at first, she couldn't grasp why he would just transform so freely like that. His species probably wasn't slaughtered for their scales.
"I..." Lyra murmured. Then her attitude changed back to her usual fierce tone. "Well was it that hard to tell me?" She indignantly cried out. "Honestly!" Inside, she felt a bit giddy that she wouldn't be the only dragon shifter at this school. If there were at least two of them, maybe there were more... {(*cough* I see a weredragon *cough*)}
