Merrik nodded. "I'll be back in a hour or so to check on Scarlette." He patted Gabriel on the back as he left the room with Marie. He headed towards his office.

Gabriel watched them leave. He sat next to the bed. He placed his hand next to Scarlettes afraid to actually touch her.

Sukka clumsily climbed up the tree and sat on a slightly lower branch than Destini. "Thank you for not running or flying away this time..." He smiled lightly.
