she nodded and walked out of the room.

"I found something strange."

Vander helped Vecili limp over to where Sukka and Destini where.

Vecili winced in pain with every step.

she looked at vecili. "you ok?" she asked quietly

Gabriel looked up at Marie as she walked out. He never said a words.

Merrik looked at Bethany. "What is it?"

Vecili gritted her teeth as she sat down on the ground. "Yes... The pain will go away soon enough... Thank you for your concern."

Vander began to ruffle through the hunter's tents, as Vecili had done earlier.

Sukka just watched Vecili without a word.

she sat down and sighed.

"I ran a few tests, and this young woman was in her first stages of pregnancy. Unfortunately, the egg was killed."

she broke a piece of the ice block she made and slid it over to vecili

Gabriel's eyes searched Marie. "Do you know who found here? Who brought her to Merrik?"

Merrik cursed lightly. He rubbed the bridge of his nose. "This isn't going to go over well... Thank you Bethany."

Vecili took the ice and pressed it against the wound. "Thank you."

Sukka looked at Vecili. "You let Vander kiss you... And you kissed him back... It's not right. If he doesn't know about what you are-"

"What I was, Sukka." Vecili snapped at him. Her eyes were full of pain, but it woasn't from the wound.

she nodded and walked out of the room.

Ninern sat next to Sukka. "Youngling... She is like you. She seeks acceptance... Destini accepted you for who you are, and elder youngling accepts her for who she is..."

Vecili shivered at the sight of Ninern.

Sukka frowned. "I didn't think about it that way..."

Gabriel looked at her. "Thank you..." He looked up as Bethany walked out of the room.

Merrik sighed. "How am I to explain this one?"
