John nodded. "Yes it is Riley. During a time like this it is a good idea for everyone to be prepared."

Zaylen sighed.

riley nodded slightly. "okay!" she said, tilting the gun oddly, smiling as she twisted it back into a small socket, unseen from others as if it wasn't their in the first place. she giggled a bit, standing up. "so exactly how long were you listening to us?" she asked john.

he ran faster when vander said wait up

Merrik grinned. "And if I dont, Mrs. Jurrin?"

Gabriel groaned as his head felt liie it was split open.

John smiled. "Actually I only just found you a few minutes ago." He coughed.

Vander spotted Vecili and Karla. "He woke up and ran into the woods... I couldnt catch him.."

Vecili glared at no one in particular.

she smiled at zaylen, standing up. "you tired?" she asked.

A bullett hit the building behind them. A soldier aimed for them yelled. "Shifters loose in the city!"

Vander hit the deck when he heard the gun, and Vecili cringed.

Zaylen was sound asleep, and started snoring when Riley spoke.

John laughed. "He always falls asleep when its least convienent."

"go ill distract him, its my fault your here" she said then ran over to him

riley giggled. "really? he didnt seem all to tired a second ago.."

The man shot at them again. More soldiers started to appear.

Vecili pulled Vander up. "You go. Im going to help Karla." Without another word she shifted launcing herself at the soldiers and killing one that was pointing a gun at Karla.

Vander shifted and charged the men. His shift had altered. He now had horns and spikes protruding from his body that he used to ram the soldiers and cut them. "Leave no one behind..."

Zaylen continued to snore.

John nodded. "He hides it well. That and he sleeps more than a cat does."
