Nodding, he turned and left her alone at the table. While he was worried about her, he didn't want to stick around if his presence annoyed or upset her. Time for a break? He mentally asked himself, glancing around the cafe before moving towards the break room to rest. He ended up falling asleep on the couch they had in the room, and only stayed asleep for about five minutes before jolting awake. "Ugh, that same dream." He said, closing his eyes as he tried to focus on the memory of the dream. Who was that figure standing across the field from him? Why couldn't he see a face? And why, just as he was about to reach them, would he wake up? It was so frustrating, and confusing. I wonder if Tithans still here.. He thought, standing and leaving the breakroom to search for his blue-eyed friend. Wait, could he really call him a friend yet? The only thing he really knew about him was his first name, and that he liked hot cocoa. With a shrug, he pushed his thoughts away and looked towards the table where he had last seen him.

I'll just get something to drink and munch on, maybe sit here and try to relax for a while before going back. Not like they really said they wanted their drinks any time soon. She thought, a smirk appearing on her face before quickly disappearing since she was next in line. "A medium sized white chocolate hot chocolate and a white macadamia nut cookie." She told the woman, taking some crumpled up bills out of her pocket and handing them to her. It was obvious the annoyance the woman felt having to un-crumple the bills, but Akane didn't care. After waiting a minute, she was handed her mug and cookie and she made her way to an empty table.

I couldn't eat or drink anything at all. I started leaving, stumbling a bit from the pain. I ran best I could towards my sisters apartment. Just please let nothing have happened to her.

Tithan was still there. He was taking his time with the hot cocoa, even if it was a small. When he noticed Ryou peek out of the breakroom, he glanced up at the other, and waved him over. "Got a minute?" He asked Ryou as he did so, wanting to ask the other about this town.

Spotting Tithan, he noticed him waving him over. Hearing his question, he nodded and walked towards him. "Yep. Now that its settled down a bit in here, I've actually got a few minutes. Whats up?" He asked, wondering if he should sit down in the other chair at the table or continue standing.

Glancing towards a girl, whose table wasn't far from hers, she noticed she didn't seem to be acting normal. When she suddenly stood and stumbled out of the cafe, she raised a brow and her head tilted slightly. It was hard to pick up her scent among the many others in the cafe, but when she did she noticed it was laced with worry. Letting her curiosity get the better of her, she stood and followed after her. She didn't figure the girl would be paying much attention to the people around her, so she most likely wouldn't notice if she was being followed. If she did, she'd either lie or play the roll of an concerned citizen who had seen a scared looking girl running and was worried something was wrong. She honestly didn't care if anything had happened to her, it was none of her concern, she simply liked sticking her nose into other peoples business.

"I'm actually new to this town. I tend to go from town for town." Tithan began, taking a moment to stretch. "Do you know any good places to get a job for awhile I hang around this town?" He then asked- peering at Ryou curiously.

I could smell it. I was being followed. And that meant someone was trying to poke around in my personal business. I whipped around. "Who are you and why are you following me?" I said.

"Well, I actually know a couple of different places that are hiring. This cafe is actually looking for someone to hire, mainly for clean up, washing the cups, plates and silverware, that sort of stuff." He said, glancing towards the front area where his fellow employees were working before looking back at Tithan. "I know that certain stores in the area are hiring, and if i'm not mistaken the book store is also hiring." He said, pausing as he tried to think of other places. "I think there are one or two restaurants also hiring."

Dang, she was paying more attention then I thought. She stopped walking and looked at the girl, faking a blush while acting surprised that she had been caught. "You ran past me on your way out of a cafe." She lied, making her eyes look at the girl worriedly. "You seemed to be in pain, and you were running like something was wrong. I'm sorry to follow you, I was just worried." She was surprised that she was able to act so well, normally if she was in a situation where she had to talk to a stranger she would be reduced to silence, yet she was talking to this girl as if it was nothing.

"Nice lie. When did you come up with it, demon?" I said with a smirk. This girl was a pretty bad liar. Well, to me she was at least. I'm sure she fooled plenty of people with lies like that.

Tithan hummed thoughtfully, saying "Maybe I'll look around a bit, thanks." as he drank the last of his hot cocoa. The half-demon pulled his wallet out- handing some cash to pay for his drink, saying "That hot cocoa was pretty good, so thank you for that too." He was tempted to just work here, since it was right here and cleaning wasn't too hard- but looking at the other places hiring probably was the best bet. He could always come back here if he decided getting a job at the cafe worked out!

"No problem." He said, taking the money from him with a smile. He wanted to offer to show him around town, but figured that might be a bit odd just to blurt out the question. Instead, he hid it within a sentence. "If you get lost or can't find what you're looking for, you know where to find me." He said, allowing a small playful smirk to appear on his lips before someone called his name. "Bye, Tithan." He said, giving a small wave and a smile before turning and walking towards the girl that had called him.

"I came up with it on the spot, pretty good, hm?" She said, flashing the girl a grin which showed off her sharpened fang like teeth. "Dunno why I didn't notice it before, but your scent is different then that of a normal human." She said, keeping her voice low so that passing humans didn't hear her. "So, what are you? Demon as well?" She'd never run into someone else who was different, and even had wondered if she was the only one left in the world.
