Chuckling, he nodded. "Milk it is then!" He said, smiling at her before he continued making the hot chocolate. "So, do you like winter?" He asked, trying to make small talk while they waited for the cookies to finish. That, and he wanted to know a bit more about her.

She smiles softly, leaning against the counter now as she watches him. "I love the winter.. it's so beautiful. But my favorite season would have to be Autumn.", she says softly. "What about you Ryo? Do you like the winter?", she asks curiously. She supposed that if he asks such, than he did like the winter, right? She runs her fingers back through her long hair, pulling her bangs from her eyes as she continues to watch him.

"While I love autumn, winter has to be my favorite season. Mainly because of Christmas, its my absolute favorite holiday. Back home my mother, step father, younger sister and myself would decorate the house, set up the tree and start playing Christmas music the day after Thanksgiving!" He said, quietly chuckling at the memories that began to flood his mind. "I actually didn't live too far away from here, just a couple towns over." He said, looking at her and smiling. "So, any particular reason why autumn is your favorite season? Or it just is?" He asked, his head tilting slightly.

She smiles softly as she listens to him. Ah, such great memories... Thinking now, head tilted, she responds. "Autumn has always been my favorite because of cinnamon. I don't know why, but the smell of cinnamon always makes me think of my mother because my father said she always smelled of cinnamon. I also love the colors, and the sky seems to turn bluer. And it is just on the verge of the winter season, so I can wear comfy sweaters. Not to mention hot chocolate and snickerdoodles, because those are the best. And then there is Halloween. I always enjoyed dressing up like someone I'm not for just one day..", she trails off now, a dreamlike look spread across her features as she stares at him...

Smiling, he nodded. "I'd say those are some good reasons to love autumn." He said, wanting to ask about her mother but deciding not to bring it up. "So, on the subject of Halloween.." He began, pausing to make sure she was listening and not still in her dream like state. "Any ideas as to what you're going to be this year?" He asked, his head tilting slightly. "Miss Nanami has already told me that i'm going as a prince because she's going to be a princess." He said, giving his eyes a playful roll. "Not that I mind of course, I didn't have any ideas as to what I was going to be, so her deciding for me made it easier." He said, chuckling softly.

She smiles softly, listening to him. She laughs lightly and nods. "Wow, she just did all the work for you! I think you'll make a great prince for her.", she says softly, picturing it now. It would be absolutely adorable, Nanami in a beautiful dress and then Ryosuke as her prince charming.. "And I am going to be either Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas, or a masquerade princess.", she says softly. She had been many different things before, but she had recently come across the most gorgeous mask, and had been thinking over being a masquerade princess the last little while...

Nodding, he smiled. "Both sound like good choices, though i'm sure if you ask Nanami she'd tell you to choose the princess." He said, chuckling softly. Pausing, he wondered if he should say what he was thinking, and finally deciding, he spoke up. "Actually, now that I think about it I did have something in mind that I wanted to go as. I was actually thinking about going as an elemental." He began, pausing to make sure she was listening. "You know, those people from books and movies who can control the elements? I've always thought they were cool, only problem is i'm not too sure how I would've dressed up like one. Maybe if I were to pick one element and go with it, then it would work." He said, shrugging as he glanced towards the oven timer to see how much longer the cookies had left to bake. "Maybe i'll go as an elemental prince?" He said, his voice joking as he laughed.

She smiles softly, nodding. "Then I guess a princess it is then.", she says softly, listening to him. She smiles softly. "An elemental? That's unique!", she says softly. She had never really seen anyone dress up as an elemental before.. probably because it would be hard to find, or make, such a costume. "Perhaps I could help you..I know how to make some wicked looking fake water out of casting resin, paint, and food coloring..", she says softly. At his last comment, his joke, she smiles softly, giving a little curtsy. "My prince..", she adds with a light giggle. "But in all seriousness, you could be an elemental prince.", she says, just as the timer goes off and she pulls the cookies out, turning off the oven, and places them on a cooling rack.

"Yeah, I've always been interested in the idea of having powers. I think it would be insanely cool. If I had to choose one to have, i'd definitely pick being an elemental." He said, wondering what she thought about the idea. Softly chuckling at her last words, he nodded. If only you knew.. He thought, glancing over her shoulder at the cookies. "They look and smell amazing, i'm sure the kids will love them." He said, looking at her and smiling.

She smiles softly. "I don't know.. I always thought that with great power comes great responsibility.. although I'd have to say that telekinesis sounds pretty amazing.", she says softly. Oh if only he knew... she was the Grim Reaper, and it was a ridiculous amount of responsibility, even if she could summon shadows and control darkness.. Looking at the cookies, she smiles softly. "That they do..", she says, gently placing her fingertip on one to see if it was cool. When she determined they were cool enough, she picked it up, taking a bite. "mmmm, they're really good..", she says softly. "Let's take them to the kids, and start the movie then.", she says with a bright smile now.
