When Rin hopped off her back she refocused her attention on her. Quickly heading in the direction Rin had gone, it wasn't long before she found her, on her knees on the ground. Closing her eyes, her body was once again enveloped in a glowing sphere of light. When the light vanished, she was in her human form again, except this time she allowed her ears and tail to stay out. "Are you alright?" She asked, kneeling beside her.

She smiles brightly as he says they would have snickerdoodles and hot chocolate. "Yay!", she says softly. Bae watches as he pours the popped kernels into a bowl. She nods. "Of course.. we'll make another bag if needed.", she says softly. She smiles softly as she watches him go, now beginning to pull out all the ingredients needed for snickerdoodles. She begins to measure, mixing together in a large bowl as she begins to hum

I just dug my face into my hands. "She's not here...shes gone..." I said, trying to keep back the tears. This had to be a dream. The only person who would take her in was gone. And it hurt. There was a large flash of magic energy, radiating from her. "Why..." I muttered to myself, shaking my head. Another flash of magic energy, but this time stronger. During the flash, a demon tail and wings appeared on Rin. She shook her head. "NO!" She shouted, the power flashing again. It seemed to make all the people fall unconscious, and her wings and tail stayed this time.

After delivering the popcorn to the three now incredibly happy children, he returned to the kitchen. He could hear her humming, and couldn't help the small, teasing smirk that appeared on his lips. Sneaking up beside her, he got as close as possible without invading too much of her personal space and spoke up. "Humming a tune?" He asked, his voice teasing as he looked around her and into the bowl of ingredients.

Wincing at the sudden spike of Rins magical energy, she took a small step back. Not because she was afraid, but because Rins magical energy was pushing against her own, making it uncomfortable for her to stand so close to her. "Rin, calm down. Everything will be alright, i'm here, i'll help you find her!" She said, hoping she would calm down.

I heard her statement and I just started laughing. "Don't you get it!? Someones trying to destroy me! She got dragged into it because of me!" I said. It was true. I was a monster on the inside, no matter how much I denied it. I was hated by everyone, even by the humans. And they didn't even know people like me truly existed. They just hated us, period.

Her dog ears pinned back against her head and she couldn't help the small frown that formed on her face. Even though she considered Rin a friend, she knew nothing about her or her past. "Its not your fault." She said, hoping to make her feel better. "I can fight with you. I can help you escape them, whoever they are." She said, nodding as if to confirm her own words.

I uncovered my eyes, and turn to look at her. My eyes were only slits, and my eyes had changed to red. I stood up. "I'm a monster...I can't change..."I muttered. "You..you can still be considered human. You still have that pleasure. But I...I bring death. And eventually...I know I'll hurt you too." I said, and then ran off, my tail and wings flickering as if they were hallucinations.

"You're wrong! I believe you can change, and i'm not afraid of you! I know you wouldn't hurt me, not on purpose." She called after her as Rin turned and began to run, hoping that Rin had heard her words. Did she stay, or did she follow? With a sigh, she transformed back into her dog form, turning and heading in the direction Rin had run off in. Instead of chasing after her, she kept her pace slow, hoping that maybe Rin would have calmed down by the time she caught up, if she managed to catch up.

It had happened again. I just couldn't handle it. More people had died because of me. Another flash of magic radiated from me, the ground slightly shaking again. I didn't even know what I was doing anymore. I spread my demon wings and took off, my demon tail swinging behind me. Why was I born a monster...? I thought to myself.

By the time she had caught up to where Rins scent stopped, she was gone. Must have flown. She thought, lifting her head towards the sky hoping to catch sight of her. Not seeing anything besides a bird, which had been startled out of the trees when it caught sight of her, she sighed. Transforming back into her human form, she once again allowed her ears and tail to stay out. After all, she was in the forest, it wasn't like anyone would see her. Maybe she went home..? She thought, slowly making her way back in the direction she had originally come from, towards town. She knew it would take much longer to get there in her human form but she didn't really care.
