Tithan let out a yawn as he woke up from his little nap on the rooftop one day. The sun shining above- warming his skin, the clouds up above floating past, it all was nice. Sitting up and stretching- the half-demon took a moment to look himself over, and make sure everything was in order. He stuffed his tail- which was swishing leisurely in his hoodie, and pulled the hood up over his head. He had his wallet in his pocket, and felt ready for the day! So, he jumped down from the rooftop into an alleyway with some ease, and slipped into the streets- hands in his pockets. Where could he go to make a quick buck today, he wondered..

I walked out of my sister's apartment, walking onto the sidewalk. I walked towards the bookstore, playing on my PSP. I turned the corner and walked in. It was completely empty. Fantastic. A day all to myself yet again. At least I could do whatever I wanted since no one ever came. I sat down on the chair, putting my feet up on the desk. I started playing on my PSP again, completely ignoring everything. Not like there was anything to ignore though.

Sighing, Akane slowly pulled herself out of bed, her hair a mess and clothes wrinkled. She looked around the small motel room that was, for the moment, hers. After taking a shower in the lukewarm water, she dressed in black skinny Jeans and a black tank top, checking herself over in the full length mirror that was attached to the back of the bathroom door. She slipped on her black and neon green tennis shoes and left the motel, making sure to slip her phone into her pocket before leaving. The shelter wasn't too far from the motel, just down the street a ways.

Smiling, Ryou sat two coffees down in front of an older couple. They were regulars, and during the morning he would usually spend most of his time talking with them. Seeing another younger couple enter, he smiled. "Hello, welcome to Sunnyside Cafe. I'll be with you in just a moment!" Returning his attention to the older couple, he smiled again. "Well, tell Holly I said hello and congrats. Make sure that she and the baby come visit me soon." After another minute or so of goodbyes, he moved on to the next costumers.

Her father left her at a young age. Her mother was very kind, and also a librarian. Her mother collected books and read them to Faye at a young age. One night while her mom was at the library, a group of pranksters came inside and started lighting the books on fire. The fire escalated and burned the entire library down with her mother inside.

Gazing around- Tithan decided to peek into his wallet. He had a decent amount of money- or at least, a decent amount compared to how much he usually had. The half-demon supposed that it wouldn't hurt to treat himself, make this so-far good day even better. So, he peered around. He saw various shops and buildings- although nothing in particular stood out to him, until he saw a cafe. 'Sunnyside Cafe'. Maybe they had some hot cocoa or something, he wasn't too big into coffee- although he'd drink it. He entered, seeing a younger couple who just entered, and a boy that went to attend to them. Tithan gazed up at the other boy- who appeared about his age, he noted. Peering for a few more moments, he decided to avert his gaze elsewhere- peering at the other customers in the cafe, the menu, and decor.
