Damon shifted human again and sat down next to her. "MY father told me my mother died when I was born.. I had a older sister...but he killed her in front of me... He used me as an excuse to kill everyone and everything. HE constantly.....hurt...me, and drank too much alcohol. Everytime i'd run away, he'd find me and then we'd restart the whole beating process over again. He's shot me 5 times, and I lost track of whatever else he's done to me.. " Damon said.

She began to calm down and looked up at him. "I... didn't know.. I'm sorry.", she whispered. He had it so much worse than her.. yet she was the one sitting her and crying like a baby...

Damon shook his head, silent now. He watched the sky, his head slightly tilted.

Biting her lip, Karma lightly wrapped her arm about him in a half hug, being careful not to hurt him. "Thank you for sharing..", she said softly and exhaled deeply as she let all her emotions go...

Damon blinked, staying quiet. He still had the picture grasped tightly in his hand.

She sighed as he said nothing and pulled her arm back. stupid... she scolded herself mentally before placing both of her hands back in her lap, fiddling with some grass as she bowed her head.

Damon stared at the sky, in deep thought as his eyebrows furrowed and his black eyes concentrated on the sky.

She sighed and looked up at him. "it sure is nice out tonight..", she muttered, wanting to start conversation, but not wanting to stay on the other subject.
