Zaylen seemed to zone out for a second. Something deep in the recesses of his mind wanted him to reveal himself to Vecili. He started to move forward.
Vecili closed her eyes and turned away from Sabin. She was hurt that he would not look at her. "Gabriel won't get very far. That was more than just a tranqulizer. That and I filched these off of him." She handed Gabriel's gun and tracker to Sabin, and flashed the phone before sticking it in her pocket. Ger thoughts turned over in her head.

"i guess i could. couldn't hurt. don't try anything funny, okay?" he continued. coal got up and was silent for a while. after a second, coal opened his eyes and shifted into his panther form. "hey i did it!"
