Odin laughed. "Yeah, that did sound kinda creepy, huh?" He looked ahead suddenly, spotting something. "Ah, there it is! The creepy old house!"

Lucien froze for a moment, blinking in surprise, but he hardly had time to question the man before he was dragged along. He swallowed, trying to hide his blush and still his pounding heart. He could probably ask later.

Nero looked surprised, and even.. touched, perhaps? He had never imagined he'd see Adonis this way. He still wanted to object, to turn around and go back home, but instead he ended up nodding quietly, a thankful look on his face.

"Yes you do," Ezekiel replies, crossing his arms. "Are you trying to kill me now? Because the only place I'll be going is down and you certainly won't see me anymore once I'm a demon."

Adonis nodded, smiling. He went to the cashier and quickly paid for the ice cream he still held onto, and then motioned for Nero to follow him.

"It won't be anything fancy, just so you know. Maybe like, soup. I'm not very good at cooking honestly," Adonis admitted.

Nero smiled a little, following along with him. "Anything sounds great right now, really," He responded. "I haven't ate in-- .. n-nevermind." He faded off a little.

Adonis narrowed his eyes at Nero. "No, why don't you finish that sentence? How long has it been since you ate? Why don't you just use your hyper-grow and grow fruits or something?"

Nero shrunk away and averted his gaze, looking hurt, like a child being scolded. "I-It takes a lot of energy out of them, the poor things." He explained quickly, obviously referring to his plants. "And I.. I-I don't know, I haven't found the energy lately myself.." He continued, leaving out the fact that his powers had actually been failing him lately.

"Oh.." Odin fidgeted awkwardly, not knowing exactly what to say to that. "Uhhh... l-let's check out what's inside, yeah?"
