Nero sighed as he left his warm cozy home and stepped off into the cold streets to head to the store. He was low on money of course -he always was-, but he also had no food whatsoever at home. So he drearily trudged through the snow, hungry and eyes still slightly red.

Lucien cocked an eyebrow, obviously very curious of all this. "How does it not bother you? I'd be so grumpy if I were hungry all the time." He smiled a bit then. "Well, more so than usual, anyhow."

Odin seemed too surprised to answer Luna's question. "I... I didn't think dragons were still.. around, y'know? You're all supposed to be dead; wiped out." He furrowed his brows. "How are you still alive?"

Adonis meant to go straight home but he somehow took a detour and ended up in front of the grocery store.

"Huh?" Adonis asked, confused at where he was. "Oh. Well, as long as I'm here..."

Adonis entered the store, heading directly to the ice cream section.

Nero stared down at the ground as he made his way to the icecream aisle, the thoughts racing through his head too murky to sort through at the moment. "Stupid, stupid.." He muttered.

Odin raised an eyebrow at her, but decided to keep on leading her through the woods now. "What's a high blood..?"

Adonis pulls a tub of Birthday Cake ice cream out of the freezer, then turns his head as he hears somebody mumbling.

As soon as Adonis realizes it's Nero, he ducks into the next aisle.

OF COURSE HE WOULD BE HERE! Adonis screams at himself mentally. WHY WOULDN'T HE BE HERE?

Adonis makes a beeline for the cashier.

"Yes." Ithuriel sighed, then looked at Ezekeil "Sorry for earlier." he mumbled

"Awww, your not grumpy!" Xypher laughed and kissed his forehead

Nero picked out a jar of icecream, but then winced at the price tag. "Can't even afford icecream anymore," he muttered, tossing it back carelessly. "I guess I can officially call myself poor." He laughed bitterly. After a moment more of glaring at the wretched food, he took a look around, realizing that talking to himself, even quietly, probably didn't look very sane. He sighed a bit. 'I guess I can skip dinner for a night.' The dryad thought, turning around to leave. 'Kind of a waste of energy though, wasn't it?'

"Huh.." Odin listened curiously. "So that would make you... what? Like royalty?"

"I-I...didn't know th-that. Sorry," Ezekiel apologized. He hated creatures that could read minds. They gave him no privacy.

Ezekiel shrugged. "Don't be. Asmodeus is just protective."

Adonis watched Nero come in, look at the ice cream, and put it back, all saying something about not being able to afford it.
And then came the huge internal mental struggle. Invite him for dinner? Or just let him be?
Because if Adonis invited him for dinner, it would make him look like he wanted more - which he did - but he didn't want Nero to starve either so -

"Nero!" Adonis called out, and immediately regretted the decision.

owen growled. " get away!" he let go of Olivia and she backed away in fear that he might bite off more than he can chew.owens face darkened. " I don't know who you think you are..." he hissed.
