{{ I have the same thoughts sometimes. I could be out volunteering, helping people, trying to get into a med school or something like that, but I'm sitting here shooting arrows at goblins and smiling at cute homos in an RP. XDD }}

Nero blushed a little and smiled softly, staring down at his hands. He shrugged, somewhat sheepishly. "You've never given me any reason not to trust you, I guess."

[The Dead]

He's so cute when he's shy. I just want to-
"Here are your drinks!" The waiter appears and places the drinks in front of us. "Are you guys ready to order or do you still need time?"
"We're ready," Adonis says, and then orders for the both of them.
"Are you okay, Nero?"

"Hm?" Nero looked up. "O-oh, yeah, I'm fine." He pushed his menu towards Adonis, pointing to what he wanted. Obviously he didn't want to talk to the waiter again.

[The Dead]

((He had already ordered for Nero but we'll pretend he didn't.
I think today is going to be the first time in months that I've had breakfast. |D
And only because I didn't go to sleep |D))

Adonis reads off the menu to the waiter, who gave Nero a slightly odd look. In return, Adonis glared daggers at him, and he went on his way.
"How is your shop doing?" Adonis asked, fishing for conversation.

"Well, you've bought my last three meals. I think that says enough." Nero laughed. "This season's always rough though. As soon as the holidays come along, people will start piling in again." He looked up finally, meeting Adonis's gaze. "Y'know, you never told me what you do for a living."

((I knew that was going to come up. Good thing I put thought into it. Go me! |D
High-fives to our terrible sleeping schedules!
I'm going to wait until other people get up though. I'm never first. That will upset the balance of the world.))

"Valentines day is probably your busiest, yeah?" Adonis asks. "That would make sense to me."

"I run an internet advertising company. Or, well, I still run it - I invented the company - but I have people who run it for me now so I pretty much just make money." Adonis shrugs. "Of course I have meetings and stuff and calls but not often. People are instructed to not call me because I don't want to be bothered."

"Yup, non-stop orders. I'm glad I'll have help this year." Nero nodded with a smile.

His eyes widened somewhat at Adonis's explanation. "W-wow, you're like, really important then..?"

((I'm really done for when I have to go off to college. I have like, classes at 9
9 am.
I haven't gotten up that early this summer once.))

Adonis shrugs. "I guess. I just kind of came up with the idea, and then put it to use. I live here because most people can't find it. It's a supernatural town so only certain people can. To everybody, I'm pretty mysterious, because they've never seen my face. It's nice, not being hounded by people. But only because they can't find me."

Nero seemed beyond impressed, listening to him intently. "You're like some sort of secret agent."

((Same, same. Once I even slept right until 5. |D
I was mad though because that's a waste of a day.))

"With what I can do? Being able to control my own state of matter, as well as everybody elses'?" Adonis laughs. "Yeah, I so could be. But I'm not. Just a kid who got a lucky break. And has to hide from the world because I like sleeping as water."
